If I could give zero stars I would. Got there to pickup my order at my scheduled pickup time and worker was a complete A-HOLE!!... He said they were ? out ? of cookies and that they had started cleaning early so they could leave. They then asked me to leaveand shut the door. Told me to hope I get a refund. RIDICULOUS. When I first ordered insomnia cookies, they were the best cookies I've had, but then every time I ordered them after that, they... always forget my side dip and takes them forever to drive back and get it and by that time the cookies are already not as warmas they should be, this happened three times in a row they forgot it. Then with the pickup orders, I would place a pickup orderat a specific time and they don't even have it ready when I get there to pick it up so there's no point of even setting a pickupif it's not even ready when expected. On top of that, there have been multiple times when I get my cookies and the cookies arejust hard as a rock and taste bad, it's a gamble, sometimes they're really good but a lot of times the cookies just don't tastethat good and are not soft and chewy like they should be. I went into Insomnia cookies on 7/6/2022 in Normal, IL and the customer service was horrible by the girl working. She saw us... come in no acknowledgement, she just kept doing what she was doing and finally came in and had an immediate attitude as thoughwe were bothering her. I asked to the 4x4 and never ordered she didn't explain to me anything or even reply my daughter didthat was with me instructing me how I needed to order. no smile just a noise again as we were bothering her. I love theircookies but they need to train their employees better. CUSTOMERS are the reason they have a job!!! Tried to text the manager RCas I know her personally and am related with no reply. Placed delivery order through Insomnia around 11:45pm. Got a call later saying they were out of one of the cookies I ordered,... so I chose another flavor. Around 1:15am I called for an update. They gave me some weird story about how the driver got to myhouse but forgot my order at the store, and they said they were going to have to call the driver to see if he was planning tocome back and get my order and deliver it to me. After hanging up I was still confused if I was going to get my order tonight,so I called back a few minutes later to clarify. He gave an even weirder and more confusing story about the driver and said myorder wasn?t done. I ultimately canceled my order. Really felt like they were just making stuff up. No clue what?s going on overthere. We regularly have to wait over an hour for delivery orders. They were also just plum out of all cookies for an entireweek recently. Review Date: March 15th, 2015 Late. Night. Cookie. Shop. That is exactly what Insomnia Cookies is. No serious, they sell... cookies til about 3am. Now I am not sure how the great idea came about to sell cookies until 3am, but I love the idea. I havenever been there that late, but I can vouch for the deliciousness of the cookies. They even warm them up for you before theyhand them over. If you consider yourself a cookie lover and you have not tried one of the 80+ Insomnia Cookies in America?. doit now. It?s fine, they will still be open by the time you get there. Also, if you see magnets behind the register, ask forone. I actually had a good experience regarding customer service. Everyone was super friendly to us and we loved the cookies ????... They even asked me if I wanted the vegan cookies in a separate box and gave me a premium one because they ran out of chocolatechunk and didn?t realize it when they charge me. Thanks guys!! Read more
This place was great for all of 2 months when first opening and has since gone completely downhill. Nearly frozen food that was... clearly made hours ago that then takes over 2 hours to arrive.
