Tidewater Seafood Company, Norfolk, VA. I?ve seen this place for quite some time now and finally go talked into getting some... seafood from this place. I wasn?t even that hungry, so I?d gotten like a Whiting sandwich and fries. So the whiting fish, whichI like was pretty much 2 pieces of whiting on a bigger hot dog bun. Nothing else. No lettuce, no sauces of any kind, nothing.For $8 bucks, you can dress it up a bit. There like 2 people working: an Asian woman and an Asian guy. Probably married. But tokeep the costs low, they don?t hire anybody to help out like shred some lettuce or put together some cole slaw or have hotsauce, malt vinegar and tartar sauce available which would make what I had, a sandwich. Gas has gone down, go buy some of thesecondiments from across the street!!! The sandwich wasn?t even good. It was just alright. They gave like 2 packets of tartarsauce. Pretty pathetic to me! I?ve seen a lot of these ?seafood? places run by Asians. I mean, I love seafood, but there ain?t alot of attention to detail. We ordered snow crab legs and two white fish frys. The crab legs didn?t have much meat on them and the meat that was in them was... dry. I ordered my kids the fried fish meals but unfortunately they were full of small bones and dangerous to eat. It was anexpensive and disappointing meal. Read more
Went here yesterday to grab a dozen of Chesapeake Bay blues. Some of the largest I have seen this season. The prices were... through the roof but that?s how it goes. No real complaints. Service is pretty fast. Hold on to your receipt. Read more
