Everything as advertised. Large, uber clean + modern taproom. Plenty of seating with multiple floors. Wide beer selection and... something for everyone (hoppy fare fans will rejoice though!) A must-stop for anyone that likes beer. Read more

Fun place. Dogs are welcome. Beer prices are reasonable and the two that I had were delightful. Place was clean and staff was... friendly. Also had a restaurant on site. I did not partake so I can\'t really comment on that one. Read more

Great time! They have 3 floors, each unique, but all feed into the ambiance of just being a great place to hang out. The top... floor has windows that open in warm weather, a bar, and an open and airy feel. The second floor is dark, with a few TVs (and abar); it\'s relaxing and intimate. The first floor has the main bar and food pickup with an air of interpersonal connections. The main floor also has the outdoor seating with a pergola.\n\nOverall, good brews, good people, plenty of space. My husband loved this place. Their beer is fantastic. For a non-beer drinker like me, the vibe is cool and they have some... ciders. We didn\'t get to try the food. Read more

Great new outpost of the Veil - multilevel awesome spot. Friendly staff and quick turn on food. Vietnamese wings were great,... pizza good not amazing, fried chicken sandwich with fries was tasty. Must get the hot sauce on the side, really good Read more

Wow, this place is one of the coolest breweries I have visited in Virginia. Everything looked brand new. And the beer was... phenomenal. I love IPAs, especially hazy ones, and Veil had a lot of options. As soon as I saw their beer list, I asked my wifeto drive the next leg of our trip because I knew I would be sampling many of them- including many high abv beers.\nWe sat allthe way upstairs where they have a second bar in a huge open room with garage door windows. It was a beautiful spring day, somany of the doors were open to the breeze and rooftop vistas.\nThey have a decent food menu and we had the wings, which weremeaty and delicious.\nBut the beer was the best part. Master Shredder, S.U.R.E., Crucial Taunt, and Chubbles were my favorites-all highly rated on Untappd.\nThere are two more Veil locations in Richmond and everyone was telling us that we must get theCasa Burria tacos in one of the locations- so I will definitely be visiting there soon.\nThe place was clean, the staff friendlyand plentiful, and there were plenty of different seating options, including outdoor picnic tables.\nVisit this place if you arein the area, you will not regret it! My husband and I had a pick up order tonight and arrived around 7:15 pm to pick up but my husband wanted a couple beers so we... grabbed a couple lagers. He enjoyed them. Always a great experience here but even better tonight because of how NICE EVERYONEwas! The young lady on the phone (Sarah) was so lovely (patient & helpful), Juan really made my night and delightfully surprisedme by finding me, not a big beer drinker at all, not just 1 but 2 drinks I fell in love with. We ended up ordering one of thedrinks to drink there (fruited beer was amazing) but then ordered some to take home (fruited beer, seltzer and a really uniquestout). The young lady who helped us find the lovely stout to take home was so patient & sweet too (I?m so sorry I didn?t gether name). You guys truly made our night! Great food (love the codex burgers), great drinks (even for someone like me whodoesn?t care for beer much) and PHENOMENAL SERVICE! We are repeat customers and will continue to be. Thank you for being soAWESOME! Read more

Haven?t been to the original locations yet but after this visit it?s on like donkey Kong. Great location and clean well... decorated atmosphere. The important part is the the brews are just epic. Happy to dive into just about all they had from sours,to pales, to delicious double IPAs . The restaurant inside Codex although we didn?t get to indulge looked amazing from what wesaw. Great brews and amazing food onsite. Can?t go wrong. Group favorites were the Bubble Wrap coconut vanilla truffle, thebrave noise pale ale, lastly the culminate Belgian Gueuez. Cheers!!!! Read more
