Reviews for Rally's in Norfolk, VA
I think Rally's deserves a spot cuz it closes super late. It has a couple of tables outside and all, and it's located at the... fringe of Ghent which can be a bit sketchy at night, but it's def a good place to satisfy an impromptu craving. Service is terrible if you come at night. I even spoke to the manager named Mike and he didn?t seem to care after I explained my... situation. I waited in one of their lines for about 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me. I then go to the walk up line andwait another 10 minutes of no acknowledgement, just for someone to come take my order who claims to be a manager named mike. Itell him how bad the customer service is and he brushes me off. I then get home ( I live 5 minutes away) and I kid you not I hadthe coldest food as of it was sitting for some hours. I haven't really had any problems with this location as it's been there for quite some time. Go figure! I'd seen Rally's just... disappear. I've seen some re-appear in places I would never expect a Rally's. The burgers are decent. The fries, eh. That'sabout it! Nothing special, Checkers! Read more
I love rally?s wings and every time I go all my wings are covered in sauce, what happened this time? And please stop cooking the... fries and chicken in the same grease as the sweets. My fries taste like funnel cake. Read more
I pulled up at about 10:15 parked and walked to the window to order. I stood there waiting for about 10 minutes. They pretended... not to recognizing me standing there but it obviously that they were properly making me wait. Delicious burgers and fries. These are Bacon Cheddar Crisp Doubles. A double patty smash burger with bacon bits, cheese, onions,... and ketchup. As pretty as some other burger places used to be. The fries have a good seasoning, that isn't overpowering at all(although I prefer spicy seasoning myself, and these aren't remotely spicy). The fries are also nice and crunchy. Service wasfast and the staff seemed to actually enjoy being there. I almost thought it was a Jamaican place from the past reviews of rudecustomer service, lol. The brand itself is a disappointment. Checkers used to be my go to fast food restaurant. It had that special something. I am not... sure what all changed but the quality of the meals are not the same. This particular location is not professional or organizedor consistent. The management will treat you as though you are doing a disservice to them by showing up and ordering. The staffis inattentive and too distracted to remember what you mention in your order. I would not recommend this brand or location. Iwill not return for a meal as other brands are more consistent in quality and professionalism. Read more
