The food was mediocre at best. Service was incredibly slow. Food came out in the most random order, salad, then entree, then... wings, then the other entree. All 10-15 minutes apart.\n\nThe hostess that sat us told there was happy hour until 8pm and halfoff the appetizer menu except crab items (completely reasonable) until it came time to pay. We got the wings and cesar saladthat was all listed under the appetizer menu. We brought this up to the waitress and manager only to be told “those aren’ton the appetizer menu and don’t apply” even after we told them that’s what the other hostess said and showed them exactlywhere it said that on their menu\n\nWings were burnt and didn’t have much flavor beyond char. Cesar salad had more dressingthan salad, was soggy, and didn’t have any croutons. Surf and turf burger was well done and over cooked, crab cake was mushy, and fries were undercooked. Shrimp and grits was the only good thing we had, but super small portion.\n\nAtmosphere was decentand was clean.\n\nSad to see that over $5-10 for appetizers that they promoted, that they would not honor it and lose business.(These happy hour things are also listed directly on their online menu and website). Will not return… will not recommend, would say to avoid. Read more

First let me start that the vibe in this place is great; music, aesthetics and staff were great. I try to make it a point to... visit most Black owned establishments because the food is always amazing. That was NOT the case here. The crab cakes were burntto hell, mashed potatoes and broccoli was room temperature and EVERYTHING was unseasoned. I left the place with burtness beingthe only flavor in my mouth. 2 people dining, 2 drinks, 1 beer, 2 entrees for $100 and highly unsatisfied.\n\nAlso be aware thatthey automatically add an “upstairs gratuity” without letting anyone know before seating.\n\nSecond time visiting and itwill be the last sadly. It was a delight stumbling upon this restaurant after a less than positive experience with our previous choice (Tap It Local).... The entire crew was so warm and welcoming. Out waitress, Zoe, was fun, engaging, and knowledgeable.\n\nThe cocktails werebeautiful and refreshing. Overall, the food was good, but not great. While the Thai chili sauce on the wings was quite good, the fried mozzarella was less than impressive. The lamb chops were flavorful and well prepared ; however, the mashed potatoescould have benefited from a bit of restraint on the garlic (yes, I know they are garlic mashed potatoes!). There was a lotgoing on with the surf and turf burger; I am not so sure that it was cohesive. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed hers, from myperspective, it was merely okay.\n\nThat being said, we had a wonderful evening and would consider coming back Read more

Came here last weekend. I ordered the salmon with cheesy red mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was so good. I also tried the... crab dip and crab balls. They were good too. I would definitely recommend trying all three if you decide to come here. Customerservice was great. Alexxis was our waitress. She had such a sweet spirit and took care of all our needs. The restaurant itself had a nice aesthetic. Great place to take pictures. I will be returning. Read more

Sooo Prime 255 is a new restaurant with good vibes, food, and drinks. We sat at the bar with plenty of space to eat. They were... pretty busy so I would recommend getting a reservation a few days in advance. The lovely bartenders were nice and made sure wewere taken care of. I enjoyed the music and was happy it was not too loud so my friends and I were able to talk without yelling.Everyone enjoyed their drinks and most of all the food. This is a nice spot for friends or a date night. If you\'re looking for a chic environment with good drinks and great food options..this place should be your go to spot! Stopped... in on half off wine night. The house wine is not barefoot or some other low end wine, and it\'s perfect to pair with dinner. Weordered the Fried Smoked Gouda and the Granby Baked Potato Soup to start. I don\'t know about your taste buds..but Fried Goudaover Mozzarella wins..hands down!! The Baked Potato Soup had the right amount of potato and it was wonderful that it came withFrench bread to soak up every last drop. Ended up also ordering the Jumbo Crab Balls and the Short Rib Quesadilla. The crabballs were the perfect little snack and the the garlic butter for dipping made them just melt in your mouth. You also don\'thave to be a wine lover to appreciate the flavor of the short ribs. The quesadilla was filled with good portions of meat inevery bite. The staff helped with every need and made good suggestions for the next visit. This will definitely become my new goto stop for lunch or dinner. Definitely will stop on the regular for happy hour during the week. Prices you just can\'t beatthem on Granby for good drinks! Looking forward to trying brunch next. The menu options alone already have my mouth watering! Read more
