Friendly people and fast service. This was our go to pizza spot. We picked-up a good size order weekly (Square Pizza & Large... Greek Salad). Always fresh and delicious until the past few months. We started noticing the quality of the Pizza change. Thequantity and (maybe quality) of cheese and sauce were considerably reduced, plus the crust was overcooked a few times. Thefirst time we thought it was a fluke, but then it seemed consistently changed. Not sure if the ownership/management waschanging? I will not eat here, and I am publicly discouraging anyone else from eating here. I'm ok with with a business conducting... advertisement campaigns. But when a business stoops to a spam text campaign, that's where I draw the line. Maybe they've justdecided their advertising should be at the same low level of their reviews. Read more
OK y'all, If I could give Paradise Pizzeria a 10 star I would. This place is awesome. You gotta go check it out. They have great... food. Actually they have the best chicken alfredo in these parts. Better than Chili's, Cheddar's, the Olive Garden....Way upthere. So good. The bread that comes with it is awesome. It could use having some butter set on the table for the bread thoughfor those at the table that do not do the pasta. But, we stopped by again today & it was even better today than it was thefirst time we visited. Now that is a restaurant that gets written down in my favorits places to eat in Virginia!!! The owner issuper sweet & his wife is awesome. They are usually at the restaurant working. Great cooks. Good food choices for the kiddos. Mylittle one year old today was fussing over the last piece of pizza. She's ONE. In case you missed my last review, here are somemore pictures of today's visit. And when you go, you have got to try their brownies & their zamboli deserts. Amazing, not overlysweet but just right. I hope I named the little donut like dish right. But it is awesome!! Too many of our small family owned businesses are suffering still since Covid starteda couple of years ago. Many did not survive but, this place adapted & is still here. They deliver, do window pickup & dine in. Ihave not ordered anything to this date that was not great. They serve many sodas by the 20 ounce bottle & tea by the glass. Thetea is just right. Great place. Looks can be deceiving for sure. The owner was there. Great pizza, chicken strips, gyros, onion rings, etc. & the... tea is good. They do delivery, takeout & dine in. I love this place. I've only had the crab cake sub, but it's a great thing! My mom the first time ordered the seafood salad!! So... much, so good! The crabcake sub is so stuffed! This time my mom ordered the philly cheese steak sub and it was so nice. I wastrying to eat that too lol very good sandwich. May get that next time lol I recommend this place. Read more
In Short: Lots of Frozen, Fried, and Reheated food. If you like Chains like Chilis, Pizza Hut, etc. This place will be fine for... you. Full Description: Inside: Currently eating in the restaurant. The inside is kinda scary. Lights are dim, floor hasobviously not been refurbished since whatever restaurant was here before, you can tell by the welded spots on the floor. Theroof has black mold and other water damage. I can't get over how distressing the interior is. Service: I've read previousreviews on the manager, and I just met him. He's an alright guy but English is definitely not his first language, and if he'srude over the phone or no you gotta give the guy a little slack. The Waitress is a real sweetheart. My previous time I ordered,was a Special Pizza with a 2 liter of Pepsi and a slice of cheesecake. I did not receive the Pepsi, but I did like the Pizza,the crust was crisp and a little chewy, which is how I like it. I've had pizza from New England to Texas and theirs isn't thegreatest but its certainly not the worst. The cheesecake I believe is made off sight or ordered in and is not made in therestaurant. (I like the extra vegetables and its cheaper toorder the Veg pizza and add one meat than the special pizza and add 2 or 3 more veggies.) The Jalepeno Poppers are also frozenand not made on sight. You can normally tell by the taste of the Jalepenos. Frozen and Pickled Jalepenos are nowhere near asfirm and pack the heat of a fresh one, along with the fact that you can't make a clean bite with frozen ones. All in all its apizza place, I'm not expecting the Texas de Brazil or Gordan Ramaey style food, and if you like Chili's, Applebee's, and otherchain style food, this place will taste just fine to you as well. I was craving a couple slices and called them up to see if that was an option to purchase. I was greeted with wonderful customer... service and said they would make the slices fresh by the time I arrived. They didn't disappoint!
