So I had the seared tuna for an appetizer and the crab stuffed salmon with fingerling potatoes and risotto. The tuna was fresh... and tasty but it was cut a bit thicker than I'd like but that's a minor issue. The salmon and the potatoes and risotto was allcooked perfectly, my only complaint is that it was all under seasoned and a bit underwhelming. The inside and atmosphere wasvery modern and chic. Food is good and consistent for the most part. The reason I give three stars is because service will vary. I have visited and... had servers that are are somewhat rude and/or not attentive even when it isn’t busy. Other times I have had amazing servers.All and all I like this place but training for servers needs serious work to have consistency across the board. Read more
The atmosphere is very nice, but I expected that atmosphere to translate into superb food. While it wasn't bad, my chicken was... super dry and I got I could have counted my fries. I was too hungry for that limited fry arrangement. Anyway, it was a slow day,so maybe they weren't on top of their game. Read more
My friend took me out to dinner after a rough week. When we entered the place looked gorgeous. We were seated immediately as she... made reservations. However, our waitress took a rather long time to arrive and greet us. Then we asked her about drinkrecommendations and got nothing. So we guessed and placed appetizer orders. She took very long in between to take our mainentree orders. The waitress stated that the flounder was a special of the day. My friend and her daughter ordered the flounderand I got steak. I requested my steak medium. We watched and waited as other tables received their food before ours. Finally wegot our food and were all taken aback by what was presented...... not in a good way. The flounder was actually a whole flounder(eye ball, fins, tail, and all). I wish the waitress would have advised us of such. My friend and her daughter immediatelyrequested something else. The waitress was not willing to return it to the kitchen stating, " I can't return it to the kitchenbecause several people request this fish and we only get a limited amount of them". I kid you not!!!! Her time and wordsdefinitely were not to my liking. If you order something that's not to your liking as a customer why should you have to keep it?My friend tried to take a bit and gagged. Her daughter tasted it and said it was not good. The waitress said her daughter couldorder something else but had to pay for both. Horrible!!!!!! My steak was suppose to be medium but was beating well done and Iwanted to point it out but after the waitress was so rude to my friend and her daughter I just ate my sides and s little of thesteak. When my friends daughter reordered she got steak as well. She requested well done and received medium. She cut into thesteak and when she did blood ran out all over her potatoes. This place was a true gem to find via TikTok. We were here about three weeks ago for a birthday celebration for my in-laws. The... ambience was very nice very fashionable and the service was A1. To add to that they have the best crab dip I’ve ever had and Ihave tried a many of different crab dip recipes at restaurants in the DMV area. Our server Frank was exceptional. Frank was ontime with everything personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. Every drink recommendation Frank made was spot on. I toldhim I would make a review about the restaurant his service service so I’m doing it now before I forget. The restaurant looked nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was below par. We ordered raw oysters and... oyster Rockafeller for an appetizer, and sadly there were oyster shells left on the oysters. For my entrée, I ordered thecrab-stuffed salmon, and the salmon was dry. My wife ordered the crab-stuffed shrimp, and it was better prepared. However, mywife’s green beans and broccolini were bland and underseasoned. The star of our entrees was my wife’s risotto which wascooked and seasoned to perfection. Lastly, I thought it was bizarre that none of the restaurant employees wore masks. This isthe only restaurant that I have been to since the pandemic has begun where no employee of the restaurant wore a mask. Very nice upscale restaurant. Food was delicious. Our waiter James was fabulous, he told us about the special and drinks... available. It was my first time visiting but my sister n law and husband had been a couple time before. Once you order theybring hushpuppies out and they are yummy.
