First time being at a Mission BBQ and hopefully not my last! Food was delicious! Team behind the counter were super friendly and... helpful! The moist Brisket was just mmmm mmmm mmmm! So was the pulled chicken and turkey! Some top notch bbq! We starteddrooling the second we walked in the door and the scent of smoked meat filled the senses! Awful. They served me old food, because the quarter pound brisket was cold, fatty, and bland. The sausage was also cold and... chewy. The only item warm on my plate was the baked beans, Mac and cheese was lukewarm. Furthermore, had brisket and sausagefrom DICKEY'S, a BBQ spot in Atlantic City over the weekend...5 dollars cheaper, very tender and well seasoned, with a biggerportion size. Haven't tried other items and based on spending 22.00 not a fan of over priced food. Mission BBQ is a fast foodBBQ joint with lesser quality food and restaurant prices. Ridiculous. Read more

Well on the fence about this visit really, treated myself for Mother's Day. Tried Mission Bar-B-Q, for the1st time, it wasn't... the type of restaurant I thought it was (shame on me for not doing my research)???? Had the Ribeye Steak special and sides, thesides were great. Ribeye flavor good, size too small????. I did enjoy the sides, and bigger then what most restaurants areserving at this time due to the covid food cutbacks. I did not expect this to be a fast-food Smokehouse and that's basicallywhat it is, I thought it was a sit-down nice being served by the waitress kind of dinner as I said before that's my fault fornot doing the research. However, I had a friend who did share with me the ribs they were delicious I've had that from herebefore but that was it and it was only a sample of her rib. Now getting back to my meal, I was very dismayed when I was servedmy tray of food; I took one look at it and said "that's my steak", I could not believe it and look at how small it was no wonderthe price was only $12. The special was with Hawaiian sauce which I kept on the side I do not prefer to have fruity toppings onmy meat that belongs for desserts for me. While one of the waiters were cleaning up the tables and changing out the six packs ontables with flavorings and Seasonings (I posted a picture of the containers which needed to be cleaned up) dripping withdifferent sauces and debris, my question is why when he exchanged out the old packs for the new packs why didn't he clean thosetops off as well good point right? I saw a Brisket meal and yep should have ordered that thick and juicy. AFTER Intial reviewupdate: I received a response the very next day via email regarding my concerns and experience that I had had recently. Today I would like to share my personal experience and thoughts about dining here today. Myself and my god mother?s flight was... canceled this morning until tomorrow morning , so we had to book a room at the hotel next door who by the way highly recommendedyour restaurant. The minute we opened the door we were greeted by the smell of home cooking and the most and I can not emphasizethe MOST amazing staff!!! Aaron is a wonderful young man and Arizona native???? the black plate special (aloha Hawaiian ribeye)was absolutely delicious as well as the brisket which both were tender and moist. I spoke with Aaron and told him how the nightbefore at Catch 31 I ordered a steak which was the size of a McDonald?s cookie for $40.00 and failed and fell very short incomparison to my 12.99 meal here. Stopped in a couple weeks ago and I really enjoyed the food. Love the way the food was slow smoked to perfection and that good... smoke flavor is hard to come by. Love the atmosphere and how they really support military and first responders, as a vet I loveto see stuff like that. Shout out to the crew and I'll definitely stop in again. Read more
