Booked for a private event - my son's rehearsal dinner. Management was very difficult to communicate with. Email, text and... phone calls were ignored. I had to follow-up multiple times. The originally agreed-upon start AND end times were both nothonored. The seating chart was not accurate. They requested that we send actual names of attendees with their food choices socards could be printed. Each guest was to pick up their card at the door and choose a seat. The cards were not ready when wearrived and the names were not printed on them. The final food numbers were given to the chef (ended up with late RSVP's whichhappens of course!), but final numbers were not conveyed to the wait staff. Therefore, we had to scramble to get more tablesand chairs into the space. The wait staff that night was excellent! Even though the management failed them, they quickly workedto fix the problems. The food was good and the bartender was knowledgeable. If not for these things, the rating would be onestar. As a business owner myself, I am not hard to please and very flexible. I know things can get a little 'sporty' at times,so you just roll with it! Even the florist had difficulty working with the management. It's such a shame because the venue isvery cute and the wait staff is helpful. However, I would NOT recommend them for a private event. Read more

We made reservation online. Preferred outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Food was good. We ordered fries, hummus and lamb... shank.Best lamb shank we have had in recent times. Good wine selection. I tried the rose flight. I would recommend this place. Read more
Lovely winery in Norfolks eclectic Ghent district. We had the hummus and a bottle of southern wind Sauvignon blanc. Absolutely... fantastic on both counts!! We’ll be back! Read more

This place is wonderful! We ordered 2 appetizers; spinach artichoke dip w/ chips & a humus plate which came with delicious sides... for dipping. We really enjoyed it along with our wine flights. Never seen anything like this before. A tower of wine glasseseach filled with a different wine. Amazing! I'd definitely go back here again! Read more
We were there in the late afternoon, after lunch & before Happy Hour & there were still two or more other tables occupied in... this small place while we were there. My husband, not much of a salad guy, wants to go back for the kale salad, it was thatfresh & wonderful! We also enjoyed the tuna bite nachos & hummus plate. We shared a new world and sweet wine flight as well. Itwas just enough and offered an opportunity to enjoy several wines, we found a couple to try when we return. We plan to go backand have the dessert fondue & some wine with a larger group. I have my eye on the lounge around the fire pit! Afterwards weenjoyed a harbor cruise just 10 minutes away, it was a wonderful pairing & how we celebrated our anniversary. Read more
