I had high expectations based on google’s 4.7 star rating, but disappointed to say the least. There was about a half-inch of... my colada drink that was not filled to the top of cup as you can see in the photo below also nearly flavorless, not worth 4$plus tax. My açaí bowl was melted, they did not keep items in proper temperature prior to pick up (like Sweetberry does)resulting in mush bowl. People were expressing such enthusiasm for this place but don’t understand the hype. Read more

Super delicious, in town for the week and had to go twice because the build your own bowl was so good!!! The person making it... had great recs about doing yum yum & eel sauce combo and was just generally really sweet and tolerant of me wanting so manytoppings and was very kind when my card had issues. Great food & service!!! Read more

The workers were friendly and I asked for peanut butter on my acai bowl which didn’t come with it and they were able to make... that accommodation, which I appreciated. The bowl however was so much smaller than I’m used to. It’s like a little snacksize. A bigger size and more toppings would make the bowl stellar. Read more

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! The two brothers(owners) that we met today were so nice and friendly they made us feel like old friends.... The food was even better. We ordered a custom poke bowl, shrimp tacos and musubi. The bowl was fresh and flavorful and enough tosave for a snack later. The tacos were so light and tasty with just a little kick of spice. And the best thing for me was themusubi(pictured below)????????! Such a simple idea expertly executed. We will be returning hungry for more very soon. Read more

We were so excited to see a new poke place coming to East Beach/Ocean View. Unfortunately, both of our bowls just didn’t quite... meet our standards. The same ingredients at Poketastic in Chesapeake (and the one by the outlets) taste superior, and for anoverall lower price. The bowls were good, just not great; and definitely overpriced for the portion size compared to theircompetition. $4 for a small cup of watered-down iced matcha? I get paying off your overhead; but maybe tone it down alittle.\n\nThe staff definitely isn’t fully comfortable with their assortment/menu yet. They seemed unsure/uncomfortable aboutwhat they were asking each guest (not just us.) I’m sure that will improve with time; so I’m not going to knock them forthat. They were very nice and apologetic for the wait.\n\nI wanted this place to be great; they just have room for improvementbefore they get there. It may sound like I am bashing this restaurant; but it’s not like that. This restaurant is really good;it just wouldn’t be my first go-to when the carving strikes, it yet at least. I look forward to giving them another shot downthe road. Maybe they’ll change my mind. Read more
