This was my go to Chinese restaurant for 20 years. Food was always delicious. Last night we had the same identical experience as... a month ago and I will not be ordering ever again. Something has gone horrifically downhill here. Was quoted 30-45 minutedelivery time on the phone. I understand if they are busy. This was a wednesday night, not a weekend. After and hour and a halfi called asking where our food was. They said the driver was on the way and please wait a few more minutes. Mind you I live 6minutes away from the restaurant. Another half hour goes by and still no food. I called after it had been a total of two hours.They said they didn't know where the driver was. Finally at 2 hours and 15 minutes the food arrives. Cold and gross. The driverwas rude and could have cared less. To make matters even more fun they billed me 4 times in a row for the order which I'm nowhaving to make a claim for at the bank since they told "there's nothing more we can do to help you" NEVER EVER AGAIN! Kin's Wok is starting to lose their touch. I ordered crab rangoon and they were over cooked, as in burnt. They continue to... charge more if you use a credit/debit card. What other restaurant does this? This should be illegal. Read more
Used to be one of my favorite spots for Chinese in Hampton Roads. I grew up on NYC Chinese and Kins Wok was a satisfying... approximation. However the last few times I've ordered its been bland, tasteless and in some cases just bad. Something hasdefinatly changed and it seems to be getting worse. Also what's with the the makeshift cubby hole you have to stand in to orderor pick up? I understand why it came about but why is it still there? Won't be going back and would not recommend. Read more
This has got to be some of the best NY-style Chinese food in this area! Well, I like it! I don't eat it all of the time since... the prices have gotten crazy. I used to get the sweet and sour chicken, General Tsao, egg foo yung, shrimp fried rice, seafoodwith vegetables. It's really hard to know how many shrimp and or scallops have been put in one of these dishes. Aside from that,it's the flavors from this place! The food is great! I've been going there since the early 2000's! One of my places for Chinesefood and it's still there! You can't beat that! Read more
Very greasyI mean very very greasy the scallion pancakes were so greasy they soaked the paper towel beneath them and still had... grease through and through the pancake completely soaked in oil. Same thing with the eggplant the sauce was so oily I had toblock it off and drain it. Please for the love of this holy people don't use so much damn grease in your cooking!!! I'm nottalking just a little bit greasy I'm talking about big gobs of grease on the top of the sauce and totally soaked pancakes withgrease. Scallion pancake had no flavor chop suey also very bland. I was so hungry and decided to order some chicken chopsuey, and shrimp fried rice. Came home and start eating and found some... hair on their chopsuey. Chicken was disgusting , uncooked and no taste at all. Ordered shrimp fried rice and found out noshrimp. It was so disspointing. Never come back in this place ever. Read more

I personally think the food is very good! Had general tso shrimp. A tad too sweet nonetheless it was delicious ????. Also had... wonton soup with noodles very good. One thing that is for sure, Chinese food is waaay better in Norfolk than VA bch. Read more
