Got the red nachos Togo during lunch, my coworkers and I felt like something tasted off. We finally realized that the chili was... chopped up burger meat in sauce with beans. I have never been to this location and am not sure how they do it here, but it?s notwhat I am used to from the vb location. I stopped in for the first time here for lunch and ordered a burger and fries. Unfortunately I had to get my order to go. When I... unpacked my food I found French fries that looked like they had been reheated. The buns also looked moldy and they where hard. I ordered an over easy egg as an add on but clearly that was also way to much effort and it was the quality of a frisbee. 10/10don?t recommend. Read more
I've eaten at Kelly's many times in the past. I decided to order and drive from Portsmouth to the Norfolk/ Colley Avenue... location on Monday night.I was so disappointed! Both orders were cooked in old oil and it taste and looked as such.I called theestablishment to inform of my disappointment, the staff apologized, offered nothing further. I was out of $48 ( 2 orders) fishand fries they forgot my coleslaw, crab cakes with onion rings and food was tossed out. Read more
Had a horrible experience here last night (03.26.32). I ordered food for my fiancé and me , it was ~830pm, I walk and pick up... the order and go home and wait till my fiancé gets home to eat, which was late. At 10:40pm we are starving and ready to eat, weopen the boxes and get met with a salad and a mushroom burger :( - this is Not what I ordered. It?s 15 till 11pm - we haven?teaten and all restaurants have already closed for the night. I call Kellys to let them know we received the wrong order and Jill(who took my order and gave me the wrong order) treated this whole situation like I was lying to her. She put me on hold tocheck with another server if they had someone order a salad and mushroom burger, then she kept telling me she doesn?t know whomade that order, and that no one else called to say they received the wrong order. I do not care that you don?t know whose orderI received. I was so over the whole situation. I just wanted my money back and a apology, but no. Jill forced my hand to walkback to Kellys at 11:20PM to drop the wrong order off and void my receipt. Not once did I get an apology for them, and they didnot try to rectify their mistake. Jill was the one that took the order over the phone, and she also checked me out when I pickedup my order. She verbally repeated the order to me several times. Why didn?t she check the order? What kind of customer serviceis it when you don?t apologize or try to fix your Huge mistake? What kind of business is this when you make your customer comeback after 11PM to void the receipt, they didn?t even use my card to void the charge. BTW We had to WALK to Chanellos for pizzaafter 1130PM because they were the only place open and we were starving. I have never been fond of the food here, my veggieburger usually tastes like it is cooked on a meat grill, fries flavorless, but I go because my fiancé liked the flamethrowerburger, but we will no longer be a customer of any Kellys Tavern after this experience. attach Read more

Amazeballs! Loved everything about the place and walked out super satisfied. Service (Maddie K.): 5 out of 5 - So I came in... (unintentionally) late the other night about 15 mins before the kitchen closed. Obviously not the most ideal time for the staff.Regardless, Maddie K. was very welcoming and attentive to making sure my meal was great! Shoutout to the kitchen staff as well,everything was fresh, hot and delicious for a last minute order! Even the staff working the bar, you could just tell wereworking hard to make sure their customers were happy. Maddie K. met all of my four standards: Correct Order, Timeliness,Checking Back, and Affability. Food and Price: 5 out of 5 - The burger was so juicy and left my mouth watering every bite. Alittle table salt on the regular fries and you're good to go! OH and for all my cheese curd lovers out there, this place is willbe your go -to, so good! Lots of delicious looking menu items! Price is fair for the amount you receive. Parking, Interior,Atmosphere and Seating: 5 out of 5 - Have to park on or down the street but well worth the walk! Great experience. 10 out of 10 recommend the mozzarella balls. So delicious; seasoned nicely, perfect fry on the breading, and... the sauce had a nice flavor as well! Waitress was awesome! Read more
Dined al fresco. Burger was good but not cooked to order. Flies were in great abundance. No idea if restaurants have a way to... control flies but Kelly probably needs to look into it. Payment app on bill did not work. Potato salad was very excellent.Mustard based. Read more
