Service was terrible. Waitress gave us the wrong drink and tried to convince us that we were wrong, and wanted us to describe... how it should taste and walked away ignoring us, then still charged us. And the drink "Dirty Harry" wasn't even good. Our otherfriend also got the wrong drink. Waitress said that the drink wasn't on the menu, so they just gave us something. It was on themenu. And she said she would get the manager and never did. Waters didn't come until the meal came. They charged us for thechips. The food was ordinary. Nothing to be amazed about. Upon entering we were seated quickly, however we sat for well over 7 minutes. Our server came with water and asked what we would... like to drink. We ordered our drinks and flan. The flan was great however I was not given a napkin. We waited for the remainderof our party and once they arrived we were still waiting for our server. I signaled for a server and a young man came to takeour order and he was kind. Our food was delivered, however we have no flatware. I retrieved four sets of flatware and was givean ugly scowl by the female servers. I can say that the service was better prior to this visit according to the other 2 guests. Read more
Came in yesterday to have some lunch. I got the enchiladas with sour cream and queso sauce and my boyfriend got the supreme... chimichangas. I will say that I really enjoyed my food. The tortillas were nice and crisp. The rice was delicious as well and Iactually enjoyed the bite of the raw white onion used as garnish. But that?s about it. The happy hour margarita was prettymediocre. They also don?t give out chips and salsa which was disappointing. Our server also seemed uninterested in returning toour table. They took down our order but three other people came in intervals to give us our refills, take additional orders andeventually present us with a check. The inbetweens were also rather long considering there were only two other tables during ourvisit. Ultimately the food was delicious, good for to go. The lack of chips is saddening but this isn?t a place you want to havea nice dining experience with friends. Just order to go and get outta dodge. Read more
Don?t let the name fool you, this place has a huge menu sure to offer something you?re craving right now. Margaritas, cervezas,... chips & salsa, burritos, quesadillas (pictured) and fajitas (Jerry?s fajitas pictured) inside and outside dining. Fast service,fair prices and good size portions. Read more

Less than 25 hours ago (yesterday evening/night) I went to Jessy's Taco Bistro (in Norfolk Virginia) some time after I got off... work to order and pick up some food for my husband. The employee handling my order was very upbeat and pleasant to be aroundand I received my food order in a timely manner, plus luckily my husband and I liked our food (my hubby selected the ChimichangaFajita (with chicken with oaxaca cheese rice and beans ) while I selected the fried shrimp tacos that came with corn tortillas. After a cold and rainy day on the Field Hockey field, Jessy's provided a welcome respite for our family. It could have been a... warmer inside. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. We sat down immediately. Waters, chips and salsa were on the tablewithin 3 minutes. It would have been nice if the chips were warm or at least a bit more fresh. They were decent enough and hitthe spot with the salsas provided. Careful though! You only get the first basket free. Our entrees came out within 15 minutes.They were hot and most welcome on the cold day. All in all a good experience and I would recommend it for low-key dining. Read more
First time here and there were many pros and cons. The menu is very robust. The inside is quaint and looks very authentic. The... staff was friendly but our server was new, so our service was subpar. He was very nice and hustled, but forgot silverware, notvery attentive, and had to come back re our order to get additional details. The other guests seemed to wait a bit as well, sothe manager likely needs to hire more waitstaff. The tortilla chips are pretty thick, so be ready for that if you prefer thinchips. The salsa was very good with lots of flavor. Their fresh made guacamole was decent. We ordered it extra spicy which itwas, but other than that was kind of bland. I?d say it needed lime juice, a pinch of salt, & some onions. Our entrees we goodbut we didn?t finish them because we filled up on chips and salsa. The rice that comes with the burrito almost seems likeregular white rice, but that didn?t bother me. The fajitas were great as well as the burrito I ordered. I think I would givethis place a second try just to try more of their food, but I certainly hope the service and guacamole would be better. Read more
