Nice atmosphere and friendly servers. The food was very good! It was nice that our kids didn't have to order off the adult menu... as most brunch places don't offer a kids plate. Parking on the street is free on Sundays. We got there around 10 and it was theright time because the crouds started coming in not long after that. Read more
Wonderful breakfast restaurant across from ODU in Norfolk. The Mimosa Flight Cocktails were a delightful treat. Great... service from our waitress. I ordered the Carnivore omelette with home fries, cheese grits, toast & coffee. Read more

There's no better chaser for a night out on the town than a little Hair of the Dog. Mom and Dad needed a night away from... adulting and damn, did we do it right. Thank God for Hair of the Dog. The fun and forgiving wait staff isn't their to judge.While all the other places are trying to draw you in with gimmicks, Hair of the Dog gives you what you want, comfort food andspace. They know what you did last night and frankly, if your money's good, they could care less. Bills need paying! We had afantastic French onion soup and the All American Saint Betty White eggs, bacon, and toast. Each comes with a shot of whiskey,as it should be. But don't take this stranger's word, I'm nobody! Fun and friendly atmosphere, amazing drinks & delicious breakfast items served all day. What more can you ask for? Also I love... how they kept the old Harry's BBQ sign up of the old restaurant that used to be there long ago. Nice tribute! I ordered thechicken & waffles which has maple bacon infused in the waffle - every bite was perfection! My friend got the biscuits and gravyand it was great too! First time here (last Sunday 9/11/22) and it was by chance we ended up here. So glad we did becaus the service was amazing... (thanks Em and Eve!) and the food was fantastic! We ended up have a few adult beverages to try as many as we could (I can'twrite a thorough review without sampling most of the products :) ). I would steer clear of the Loopy mimosa. It's not terriblebut there are plenty of better ones to try. Also be aware some of their mimosa's have vodka or tequila in them. The LavenderLemonade, Island Mimosa, and the Blueberry Pancake were a few of my faves. I had others but they didn't leave animpression. The food tastes delicious and their steak was cooked to exactly how we ordered it. The staff was even helpful inmaking good recommendations based off of what we had a taste for. I always love a good bagel sandwich and theirs wastasty! Definitely looking forward to heading back. If you don't make a reservation, be sure to plan to eat at the bar or wait atad bit for a table to open up. Read more
