Now our family has a tradition where we go out to eat the 1st day of school to celebrate. Each year we take off and try to... figure out where to go. This year Grace O'Malley's Irish Pub in Norfolk. I was kind of nervous because I didn't know what toexpect. 8 of us went and not one complaint about the food or service. Our food did take a while to come but we chalked it up tothe number of meals ordered and just enjoyed the scenery of old memorabilia on the walls and lost ourselves in deepconversation. The food came out hot, fresh and delicious. Each entree looked as good as the next and we constantly said "Ishould have ordered that" simply based on the look of the meal. When we began to dine, oh my goodness. The flavors and freshnessof the meals were amazing. Leading us all to say we'll come back. We went for lunch and it was fairly quiet so we're going backat night because they have live music. They also have a happy hour. If you're looking for something different to please everypalate give Grace O'Malley's a try, they won't disappoint. Thanks cuz (John Lewis) for the recommendation. Read more

My wife and I just enjoyed a delicious dinner at this Pub. I had a very generous portion of Irish Bacon and cabbage.... Unbelievable taste with the cream sauce. She had the fish and chips. Lightly breaded fish with enormous fresh cut chips. ColdYuengling drafts. Outstanding service from Chris. Read more

Service is a bit on the slower side, but worth the wait. Food is amazing and a great whiskey selection. I highly reccomend the... Irish Nachos (made with fries, btw. A table next to us made the assumption otherwise and was upset at the restaurant for it). Read more

I've had this restaurant on my list of places to go for quite some time, so I was excited to finally try it. I went around 2:30... and was seated immediately. There were a few other people eating here, and the bar was pretty full. My waiter was friendly andquickly came to take my order. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage, and the food came out pretty fast. The beef was cookedfine but had no seasoning whatsoever, vegetables were undercooked, and again, no seasoning. The food had the potential to begood, but lack of seasoning and undercooked vegetables led to a very bland, unimpressive, and disappointing dining experienceoverall. I may go back and give it another try at some point, but I'm in no hurry. Read more
