I am updating this review because the food and service has really gone down the drain. This is the third time in a row that the... food was not up to par. We did not get what we ordered, my grandson just wanted steak and cheese and he received everything with the steak and no cheese on his soft tacos. They actually took them in the back scraped all the vegies off and returned thesame tacos but no cheese. I ordered a taco salad in a shell and no shell. It was a terrible meal. The waitress is a one starat best. My grandson and I go once a week. Last three weeks is making us look for another Mexican restaurant. Sad because wereally liked this place. Read more

Located on Virginia Beach Boulevard around the corner from Bonefish Grill, El Taco Loco Mexican Restuarant is crazy enough to go... beyond the conventional menu and serve you other delicious food like Mexican Ribs and a seafood soup. Both are very flavorful totry! Also, the server was very proactive on her job anticipating what we need and want and provides it. She's a server thatreally cares! Good food! Excellent service!
