I stopped here at approximately 12:18 pm to get some gas. They were advertising $2.84 a gallon if you paid with cash. So, I... stopped at the Navy Federal on Hampton boulevard, and grabbed some cash. I stepped inside the store, and there were two cashiersworking. One at the front, and one after the food stand. There was one customer at the first register, and 7 at the second. Itappeared they were all looking to buy food, so I stopped at the first register to pay for some gas. The cashier looked up at me,and asked what I wanted rather rudely. I stated that I was just here to get some gas. She, then told me to go to back of theother line. I said, "Oh my apologies I thought that they were in line for food." Then, I walked my happy butt back there withoutcomplaint. As I walked over she stated, "it is the line for everything." About 30 seconds later, another woman walked in, and Iam assuming shared my first thought about the two lines. She stopped at the first register, and waited. I stayed in my line, andwatched as the cashier repeatedly looked at the new customer. She, then said "Ma'am, do you need to pay for gas? I can help youright here". OH REALLY! So, I stepped up, and said "excuse me ma'am, how is that fair? Why did you send me to the back of thisline, and not her?" The man standing in front me of laughed, and said "that is a really good question" before went to the secondcashier. I stood there as the first cashier started saying that "I was misinterpreting the situation"! How? I needed gas, andonly gas. The second customer needed gas, and only gas. SO, why was I the only one sent to the back of another line?? Veryunprofessional. Very disrespectful. Very discriminatory. Read more
This small gas station is a hidden spot even though it?s right on Hampton Blvd. The pumps worked great, and the inside was clean... and organized. The service was fast and friendly. I can?t recommend the biscuits and gravy from the food counter, but I wasimpressed that a gas station was clean, efficient, and friendly. That is a rarity in this area. Read more
I went inside to use the restroom at Dodge?s gas station on Hampton Blvd. while my daughter was getting gas. I have never been... in a public bathroom that was so clean and well designed. They have a full length mirror, a hook to hang your purse, bars forthe disabled. I keep thinking that it was designed by a woman. They also have a tv screen with ads and a baby changing tablethat?s built into the wall. Excellent use of space! I?d like to thank again all in charge, the manager, the owner, and thosewhose job is to clean the bathroom. Thank you all for working hard to keep us all healthy. Keep up the great job! IW Read more
Chicken was decent! Not as good as I'd thought it would be. Too much breading. No real flavor. Should've driven 3 more miles to... Bojangles. 2 breaded potato wedges for $2 bucks. That's a little pricey. Overpriced! Could've gotten a better meal somewhereselse. Actually, SHOULD'VE! Sometimes, I try to give places another chance. Good (cheap) food, fairly great service for a gas station, and the *cheapest* gas this side of Tidewater Drive. If I had to... complain I'd say the new renovations that brought the total register count up to 4 was a joke because you're lucky if they run 2at a time, which can be annoying at peak hours and late night. Overall fantastic, I wish they were still open 24 hours. Read more
A buddy of mine and I went during our lunch because it was close to work. I got the spicy wings they were advertising, and... they were delicious. All drinks, frozen or fountain were 79 cents! They had a clean dining area inside and a clean parking lot. Very impressed. Will definitely be coming back. Read more
Lower prices gas than most and if you catch the morning shift you can get some tasty breakfast.
