First, I love Church's Chicken ???? ???? Been eating it all my life in many different States. But, I tried this location and... it looks like Church's Texas Chicken ???? is a name change. I ordered a 3 piece mix Leg, Breast, Wing, Jalapeno pepper, OkraAnd sweet tea. I was told that they were out of The pepper ???? okra and sweet tea. The worst ???? meal the honey biscuits hadno taste. The Chicken ???? were burned ???? and no Wing in the box. Never will I ever go back. If you can't cook Chicken in theHood. You just need to close down. Read more
I never write reviews but this mess was horrible! First off I order two spicy two pieces all white meat and a peach cobbler.... They call me and say we don't have cobbler will you take a apple pie. I said yes. I get there they only have 1 original whitemeat meal so I take it and ask for three SPICY chicken legs for the other meal since I payed extra for white meat. They give methree ORIGINAL, I let that slide. They did not have any biscuits nor did they replace the missing biscuits with something else.Then the last straw is the d*** apple pie is not even cooked the back is straight dough. Also I can't believe that this littlepie costed 2.99$. Church's definitely got me messed up!!!!! And course when I call they don't answer but all of them standingthere not doing nothing smh. I haven't been to Church's in a long time so when I drove by I was excited to stop and enjoy some chicken and fried okra. This... visit was beyond disappointing. Everything had this weird burnt smell to it like the oil hadn't been changed in a long time orsomething burnt in the oil and wasn't taken out. The biscuit tasted microwaved as well. Nothing was fresh. It was very hard toeat this food but I didn't want to waste my money so I ate. I'm regretting that discussion. I'll not be eating at this Church'sagain. Read more
I ordered a 10 piece for $10.99 special ,my wife and I used to living at Norfolk for long time , we are the church chicken fans!... but we moved out to another city, every time I visit my son who still leaving in Norfolk , my wife told me ??don?t forget toorder church chicken! I did not. I ordered the food and it is delicious , whole my family love it. This place is a hit or miss but mostly a miss. They stay closed when it's open hours, which sucks when I drive 25 mins to get... there. They are always so slow. They never open on time. The chicken has a funny taste like gasoline or something. The okra isunder cooked or burnt. I found something black in my drink which looked like ???? dropping! Never again will I get here.
