Great service! Burnt ends were a bit tough but it was near closing, brisket was a tad bit tough but nothing bbq sauce can?t help... with. (The potato salad was honestly the best thing I had) Read more
Had a great experience here last night with my family and friends. We ordered one of their combos and were pleasantly surprised... with the flavor and portions that we received. Each combo is generously served with 2 sides, and we opted for the mac andcheese and fried okra. Both delicious in my opinion even through Okra is not typically something I would care to eat. Smoked BBQchicken and brisket were flavorful, and the cornbread was so good that we ordered an additional portion before leaving. Locationis great for those in the area especially near Norfolk Naval or even the ODU campus. Will be back in the future to try theirburgers. Read more
Tried for the first time today, and was left very dissatisfied. With the exception of the exception of the brisket, EVERYTHING... was subpar from the cornbread to the BBQ sauce.The brisket on the other hand, was not great, no other way to put it. It wastough for brisket, and required cutting in order to eat. I asked if that?s the way the brisket was supposed to be, and theystated it was. So it was not a messed up order, that?s literally the way they make it to be. I didn?t eat much of my brisket,not worth the calories with the taste and texture it had. Amazing restaurant new to Norfolk. I love bbq and this place definitely does not let you down. I can't believe I ate it all but... it was worth the effort. The smoked flavor is through and through the meat. The corn bread is amazing ... There is nothing Icould say to anyone who is thinking about eating here other than do it... I don't usually give 5 stars but Texas has come toHampton roads!!!! Read more

Tried this place for the first time. For my beverage I ordered a Bloody Mary with warm brisket in it. Amazingly good. I ordered... the traditional burger with Mac and cheese. Burger was juicy and fresh and the Mac and cheese was the BEST I have ever had!! Iwould definitely recommend trying this place if you?re in the mood for BBQ.
