Love the food and service. They are faster than most soul food restaurants and even some fast food spots, and I really... appreciate that, good food and service without the outrageous wait time.\n*Now for some reason they are closed all the time onoperating hours without notice. Gas is too high to waste. You drive all the way to them to find that they closed. I usually tryto call before I drive to them but they never answer the phone. They could at least update their voicemail informing customersthey closing early or closed. It\'s getting ridiculous. If you\'re operating time states that you\'re supposed to be open atleast let customers know on the voicemail that you are actually closed before they waste their time and gas driving out there Read more

Long line but moved fast. Food was hot and portions were good sized. The staff was friendly. Ordered a kids meal (wings) and... meatloaf with gravy; macaroni and cheese, green beans, yams and cabbage. Wings, green beans and yams were good; mac was decent;meatloaf and cabbage were a little bland. Not sure if an off day, but will be giving another try and trying some differentitems. Read more

As a comparison to another soul food place I visited, I had the Turkey Wings with mac&cheese and cabbage. Well... let me say I... was Not pleasantly surprised and I really wanted to be.???? The Turkey Wings were drowning in salty gravy. They were quitesmaller than I thought they\'d be, based on a previous experience with them many years ago and another soul food restaurant Irecently visited. The cabbage was too spicy and had several under cooked pieces. The mac&cheese was actually pretty good, justneeded a little salt/flavor. Or maybe my taste buds were dead after the cabbage. ????
