When you walk into a Jamaican restaurant and you are greeted by a Jamaican you expect the food to be the real deal. This... experience was far from the real deal. We ordered the curry goat and rice and peas. Cons. 1. The rice did not appear fresh thediscoloration suggested it was reheated and not prepared same day. The rice was not long grain, it was broken and very choppy tosuggest the quality of the rice was poor. 2. There was no coconut milk, hence no taste. No Thyme. No Scallion. No pimento nopepper. 3. The curry goat, though tender, lacked taste. It would suggest the meat wasn't seasoned and marinated long enough forthe season to soak in. 4. The cabbage was overcooked and also lacked flavour. 5. The plantain was overly ripe and so soaked uptoo much oil. Pros. 1. Excellent customer service 2. Drinks were good 3. Clean atmosphere Regrettably, we just could not finishour meal which was a real disappointment. It is safe to say that we will not be going back. Read more
