So disappointed at the quantity of meat that was served with our chicken dishes. It was so very very little compared to the... sauce it was cooked in and the huge amount of rice we got. My husband and I got the butter chicken and the chicken curry, bothof them had the smallest amount of meat I have had in awhile in a takeout dish, especially for Indian food. The naan was basic,I've had much better. The chicken curry tasted as if it was way too much spice added but not in a good way where the flavoroverall balances it out. For the amount that we paid, we were so unsatisfied that we will not be eating here anymore, and Idon't recommend the food to anyone. Read more
Don't go here for curry chicken or butter chicken or naan. The curry chicken and butter chicken is 12$ and it don't come with... rice. They only give you a tiny bit of chicken too. The food is just okay tasting, if comparing to other Indian restaurants. Therice is like $6 too, so your paying nearly $20 for 1 meal, that's just okay tasting. My naan was not served hot, it waschilled. I'm leaving an honest review. The people in the restaurant are standard, they weren't mean like the other reviews aresaying. Here are my ratings: Taste 6.4/10 butter chicken Taste 5/10 for curry chicken Naan - 3/10 well seasoned, but textureand served cold brought the score down. Price is ridiculous for the quality of food. Curry chicken and rice is like 18$ plustax nearly 20 bucks, and it's not nearly the best. Look, the food is amazing and authentic as it will EVER get and there is no better butter chicken in the continent. Service is... slow but if you just get it to go then problem solved. Go here and you won?t regret tasting the best Indian food in the state(probably). Read more
I drive nearly 1 hour to eat this food. I have eaten at several Indian restaurants and none have compared to the exploding and... savory flavors these dishes offer. Everything is excellent- paneer tikka masala, dal fry, mixed chicken platter, butter chicken,mutter paneer, biryoni, etc. I have not been disappointed in anything I have sampled here. To start with lady in the counter is kind of rude and food is not that great as well . Very disappointed with quality and... quantity of the food for the price I payed ($30 for one entree and one appetizer). I expected my experience to be a littlebetter. I order the chicken tandoori which is good actually and chicken darbari isnot that great. the sauce is ok ok with fewchicken(4) and slices of one egg in it. Another legendary Indian restaurant in Georgia which has stood the test of time. The crispy fried chicken is superb. Sometimes... you feel you end up eating grease in fried chicken but these guys have perfected the recipe. All the other main dishes arebrilliant and I love the fact that the food is not swimming in oil. The naan is freshly made and soft. I have noticed portionsizes have become slightly smaller over the years. The eat in place is never as busy as it used to be many years ago but still Iwouldn?t turn down the opportunity to visit Lazeez. Read more
