It was my first visit but not my last. The Sicilian meatball sandwich was fantastic. Great service too

I would come back for the flavors, however, just not a fan of the bread. It's more airy and dissolves faster. I hoped for... toasted bread with some density for a good bite and chew. Had a Sicilian sausage sandwich for my first time. Sausage and sauceflavors are satisfying. The sausage is cut up instead of one hearty link, so it's a bit underwhelming as the pieces wereovercooked, dry, and tough. Read more

The wait was not bad obviously a local favorite with a never ending stream of customers. The sandwiches my family ordered were... good and potato salad was really good. I had grilled chicken salad was ok the chicken was white meat but very dry. The portionwas adequate given the $9.00 cost most places would be 13 or 15 but quality would have been twice as good...salads are not theirstrength but the deli sandwiches are really good and the service though busy was very personable and hard working. Wonderful staff, varied menu, nice old school deli counter feel...bur, the bread rolls didn't present as fresh baked, the... tomatoes in the BLT were ultra thin sliced, the bacon was rather floppy, and the dressing on their fantastic LOOKING antipastosalad smelled/tasted off. Doing some work down here and beautiful Norco California. Googled a spot to have a good sandwich for lunch and this little gem... popped up. Let me tell you this is one of the best fresh sandwiches I?ve ever had. The environment is really cool The customerservice was excellent and my sandwich was made With TLC and fast. I will definitely recommend this place to my coworkers friendsand family. You have gained a customer for life keep up the excellent work. This is a fantastic deli. Great customer service that recognizes their customers. Food is always fresh. Sandwiches are large and... filling. Bread is phenomenal! I first ate here 30 years ago, when they still served ice cream. 25 years later I moved into thearea and was happy to see it so open and a well-recognized local icon! Great hidden gem. This place is the definition of hospitality. The food was delicious and they didn't shy away from ingredients.... I couldn't decide between a meatball sandwich or a Sicilian sausage sandwich and the nice lady said why not try both in onesandwich. The put both meats in one giant sandwich. I added a side of traditional potato salad on the side. Try it. What's theworst thing that can happen... you might love it? I'm definitely coming back with a bigger appetite. Read more
