The Livery is a fantastic place to get fresh made food! I ordered the Empanada lunch special that was reasonably priced. It is... called the Manchego Crisp that has avocado, orange, herb salad, pickled red onions, Fresno chiles, olives, Marconi almonds, andcitrus vinaigrette. I opted to add the grilled shrimp and was delighted with this meal. We sat outside and enjoyed their patio.Angel was the sweetest server and she explained workers show up and prep fresh ingredients for the day. One of my favorite restaurants so far in Indianapolis. What a great find. We came here for a friend’s birthday. The... relationship price-quality is amazing! We came on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 8. Lilly was our server and she was amazing! Very helpful with recommendations and... answering questions. We had the guacamole, Street corn, cauliflower, and yuca fries as appetizers. The street corn is amazing.Probably our favorite. The cauliflower and guacamole was a close second. All three were very good. The yuca fries were a littlebit of a let down, they are ok but we found them bland compared to everything else. For our main courses we had red drum fish,potatoe tart, steak taco salad, chicken torta, pork belly tacos, and chicken tinga tacos. The red drum was ok, by far the leastfavorite of the items we had. Had a very earthy aftertaste which I found to be unflattering. The potatoe tart was very good butthe spinach and mushrooms were slightly overwhelming to us. The pork belly tacos were probably the favorite of our group. Verycrunchy and the mixture of pork belly and other ingredients blended perfectly. The steak taco salad was also a favorite. Thesteak is very tender and had wonderful flavor. The chicken torta was good but is basically a breaded chicken sandwich. Thechicken tinga tacos were also good but lacked the flavor of the pork belly. Overall we had a great experience and we enjoyedmost of the food. I don't think I would make this a regular stop because it's just not a menu that overly impresses my tastes.However it's just a personal preference. The service was great, food was overall good, and the decor is very nice. If youhaven't tried this I would recommend checking it out and deciding for yourself. Latin American cuisine is just not at the top ofmy list of favorite foods. Read more
