I love the decorations and ambiance! Our waitress was super nice and attentive, and our food was so good that we ordered some... more to-go while we were in the middle of eating. I had the pork chasiu rice bowl which was very delicious and filling. Kotoyamaalso has a diverse boba selection, so I tried one of the chocolate brown sugar boba which was great and not too sweet. Food was delicious. I got the seafood stir fry Ramen. The server was prompt and friendly. The decorative art around the... restaurant was cool to look at. They have dirt cheap options but all menu item prices were fair. We spent around $36 for twoplates and an appetizer and 2 drinks.Very clean in the restrooms as well. We had so much fun at Kotoyama Ramen last night! We went on a Friday night at prime dinner time and we were immediately seated.... The staff is extremely friendly. Very welcoming, helpful with menu questions and very cheerful. The food was very delicious! Wehad the jalapeño and the octopus appetizers - YUM! We got spicy miso soup and the fried ramen. We're excited that this place is open! This is nice cozy ramen place, is filled with colorful decor that really gives you a nice... environment and essence while you enjoy your variety of ramen and other sharable appetizers. They also have some wonderfulbeverage options especially the boba milk tea! Rachel took great care of us both times that we visited Kotoyama. Rachel ispatient, friendly, and just overall a shining star within this wonderful location. TYSM to Rachel and the rest of the staff atKotoyama Ramen for making our experiences joyful. I would like to personally recommend the Spicy Miso Ramen (yep it's gotHEAT!), and the fried chicken wings which comes with a sweet (Hirata) or spicy chili sauce. Went for the first time to a ramen style restaurant. I wasn't impressed but I think my expectations were a little high. The... short rib appetizer was excellent and had a Korean BBQ flavor that we really enjoyed. The salted cucumber appetizer was not goodat all. It was also very spicy and we were unable to eat it. The ramen was ok... I don't think I would order it again but itwasn't bad, I feel like it needed more than just noodles broth and pork belly. The texture was all the same.i just found itboring. This was one of the finest dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was excellent. The waiter was the nicest guy... whose smile was very contagious which led to an even greater experience. I'd give 6 stars all across if I could. This was a newplace so I spent a lot trying many things and was not disappointed. I will be back. Read more
