We went to El Monarca because we have heard great things. We thought it was just ok. We got a birra taco, a scope and burrito... enchilada style. The taco was good but didn't have the flavour of most and the ground beef in the other two items was verybland. Service and speed was great. Read more
We went for the first time thought we would try the new place for our Anniversary. Honestly happened to see it because of a... detour boy were we glad. We were amazed how good it was. My husband's burrito was recommended by the waitress and it was thesize of the platter and just the right amount of spice. My cheese enchiladas topped with carnita meat were so good (not usuallya fan of meat on my enchiladas) but was so glad the waitress suggested them as well. My favorite food is Mexican and I am alwaystrying to find a good place. I have found a few I like but this one will be my go to from now on. Such a hidden little placethat was delicious. Loved all the different options to choose from we are going to try everything on their menu at some pointfor sure. Very friendly family that own it so give to them a try we want to keep them in town. Loads of flavor & spice and that?s how I like it! We have been here before and it?s always been so amazing and fresh! This time... I had the chicken flautas and my husband had the Birria. My kids had the chicken & quesadilla kids meals and they were verylarge portions for the price! All the portions were substantial. Thumbs up! The free chips & salsa is always a win and thechips were so warm & delicious!! The restaurant was super clean and the service was fast & friendly. Parking lot is kinda tinyand the place is actually BEHIND Rocco?s so keep that in mind if you?re looking for it. I will be back and you should try thisplace too!
