My first experience here was pretty good. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was nice but the service was strange. I... stood at a sign that said "please wait to be seated" for 4 minutes before I asked staff what to do. I see other people have alsocomplained about this. Get rid of the sign.... Also, the 3 standard tip amounts seem pretty high for the amount of work you putin vs the amount the staff does. Overall, great place and would recommend to others! Read more

I walked in on a Sunday morning excited because I drive by this place once a week and I?ve been wanting to try it since we moved... the the area. I have never been more confused in my life. There is a sign that says to wait here to be seated, as standing therewe get passed by other new customers who seem to know the deal. So we wait around until we have to ask someone for help, we aretold to find a table and come up to the counter to order. So I order us some breakfast, $51 after an $8 tip for biscuits andgravy, a skillet, 2 coffee, a donut, a side of sausage. I?m handed a number, two cardboard coffee cups with lids and a donut. SoI pour my own coffee, get my own silverware, physically have to walk up there to order, got my own to go container for theleftovers, and get my own water at the fountain. Why am I tipping here? I?m not against tipping as it?s how I got throughcollege, what is the owner doing to these workers if he?s running a skeleton crew and having them depend on tips tosurvive? The biscuit was good and honestly that was the only good thing about this meal and why it?s 2 stars. The donut wassubpar. My wife?s skillet had what looks like fried dough instead of potatoes in it. Side note, funny how the response from themanager is always to say ?talk to us before writing a review.? Sounds like they care more about their perception than acustomers experience Read more

2 years ago I gave this place 5 stars, food was great, service was awesome and it was just a great small business. Unfortunately... things have declined in the last year. Food is still awesome but the service is lacking since it seems the main owner or manageris not there on weekend mornings. Young girls man the counter now, always on phones when you walk in, are not attentive anddon?t know how to work in a restaurant setting. Sometimes forget drink orders even when it?s slow, so they can talk about theparty the night before. I came in with my 3 year old daughter and 8 month son. Was sitting at the table feeding my son whenbreakfast came out, the young girl with curly hair and glasses told me if I wanted silverware it?s at the counter. I asked ifshe?d be able to grab a fork since it was just me, she said ?no, I just told you they are at the counter if you need them?. Sohere I am sitting with my breakfast my 3 year old eating a donut, and my son strapped to the seat eating puffs and you can?tjust grab a fork? What did I tip 18% for? Hope all the tips go to the bakers. It sounds silly but if you have children you know,it?s tough to get up and get things once situated. And considering it was slow at 7:15 am, the girl simply went back next tothat cash register in her phone. Still great food but bring back the 30-40 year old woman that would work in the dining room onthe weekend. She was so nice and knew everyone. Read more

I heard they had great donuts, but Daaaang! Their donuts Are amazing, don't get me wrong but what gets Glazed over too often is... the fact that this cozy, crunchy not so little spot is easily a heavyweight contender for my best local dine-in eatery. My wifeand I find ourselves gravitating to Joe Donut anytime we want to stay close to home and have a hearty home stylebreakfast/brunch while we reset and catch up with one another be we end up talking to each other more than we eat. Trust me, Istill eat plenty. From the biscuits and gravy to any of the eggcellent entre choices there's nothing I've found that I haven'twanted to reorder the next time we stop by. It has an amazingly welcoming vibe that makes us not want to leave every time wecome by. If I didn't live so close I would definitely say it's worth any trip into town. See for yourself, you won't bedisappointed. Read more

Absolutely fantastic breakfast place. Between the amazing donuts and their consistently awesome menu, you'll find yourself... coming back over and over. Chicken biscuit was amazing and the "Pancake flight" got a resounding cheer from the kid. Not youraverage sit down dinner. Place your order, buy your drinks and get a number. They will run your food out to you. All staffmembers had face coverings and were super friendly despite the long lines and endless steam of customers. Outdoor seating andparking lot available. Great place. Staff was friendly, they were pretty busy but allowed us to take our time selecting our donuts. The donuts are... delicious. Even ordering at 10:30am, the donuts tasted fresh and it's nice having special toppings (maple bacon donut anyone?????) instead of the standard frosting only at big chain donut places. Sure, the donuts here are more expensive, but thequality did seem to be there to back it up. Most were larger than what you'd find at those big chains, too. I'll have to trytheir standard breakfast some time, too. Read more

Man! This place was great! We were originally gonna order to go but there was plenty of seating so we stayed. Luckily we did... cause these monster sandwiches would?ve been a little hard to eat on the go. ???? Great portions and even better taste. Ofcourse we grabbed some donuts to go too! Read more
