Came to this place because my wife was wanting to try a new Filipino place. The service was great! We ordered lumpia, Fish... Tinola, kinilaw and the crispy pata. Initially we wanted to get the pocketing bisaya but they said they were out.. even thoughwe got there right when they opened.. we? The lumpia was good, came out fresh and really good flavor inside. The fish tinola waspretty bland.. I could only taste the ginger.. we added salt but Injust chose not to eat it. The kinilaw was super liquidy, itwas good but we ended up fishing out the tuna and just eating that.. it was nothing spectacular. The crispy pata was cookedperfectly though. We got the large because it was only $2 more and it was pretty good especially with the soy sauce vinegar sidethey gave us. We ordered a side of rices too that was three scoops. Overall the meal was good and satisfying. Read more

THE BEST FILIPINO food in Illinois!! As they say on the signs when you walk in, the wait is worth it! The pork bbq is full of... flavor, the pancit is delicious, the sauces are amazing. You cannot order "the wrong thing" off the menu. MAKE SURE to orderdessert. You are going to be full but you will be glad you split the bowl of tastes halo-halo. This all combined with a veryfriendly staff makes it a place to come back to over and over and over again. Read more

This place had some very good attributes. For example, when you sit down to dine, they serve you lemon infused water. The... facility was clean and very well maintained. The atmosphere of the establishment was very jovial. While I was there, I overheardsome of the patrons rave about how good their food was. My order was ok. With that said I have to say that I am not aconnoisseur of Filipino cuisine. My wife, a lover of Filipino foods, also said her order was not bad. Nonetheless, she said, shewould like to make return visits. Therefore I give them 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for this scale. Read more
