The specials are usually pretty good but once in awhile they fail short of being considered "good". 85% of the time though it's... a decent place for a home style cooked meal that's fairly priced. Never been there during regular bar hours just lunch but theplace is fairly large and I imagine it gets pretty busy as it's one of the only bars around. Read more

Staff is very rude, wait time for a drink is about 1/2 hour. Food is awful? this is my second time there, thought I would give... it another try. I?m convinced someone slipped something in my beer? I only had 2 beers and got extremely intoxicated. Manager ofthe bar is a nasty SOB Read more

Wow. Wow. Wow. So good. The food the people the wait staff everything was awesome. We had the meatball with swiss ,the, turkey... and the sausage with peppers and onions grinders and chicken strips and and clam chowder it was all amazing. I will definitelybe going back again. The money we spent was well worth it and the food items weren't that expensive... Everywhere else recentlywas so expensive and food just didn't taste right in some way this place is awesome and delicious. Next time I need more dippingsauce for my chicken strips which I must say we're fresh. And they didn't give me chips with my grinder last time we did so notsure what happened there. Even the live band was great . It's the last of the season though. Located right next to the beach...Just convenient and delicious Soo happy. Read more

From the outside, this might look like a keno driven dive bar catering to committed alcoholic townies. But don't be fooled. ... The food here is on another level entirely, some of the best clam fritters I've had in my life, a huge portion of delicate, lightly sweet, fritters about the size of a golf ball packed with sweetcorn and studded with tender clams. The New Englandstyle clam chowder is rich, creamy, and fresh tasting, without the "flour-heavy" doughiness that so many other places do. Andbig surprise: the draft beers have plenty of local craft options. A really delightful place. Read more

We waited 10 minutes for a waitperson. 20 minutes for drinks. 45 minutes for food. They forgot I'd ordered soup. That was *all*... I ordered. They got the Mate's sandwich order wrong *and* it was awful. Took another 20 minutes to get the right *cold* sandwichbrought to the table. I was going to order dessert but didn't want to have to wait for them to make a pie in order to bring itto me. After all that, we got the wrong change. Never again. Read more

We wanted to like this place but with a very unhelpful waitress and horrible prime rib with over 50% fat, this was a bad... experience. We asked if the prime rib was roasted that morning and if the mashed potatoes were real mashed potatoes. Shereplied yes to both. The potatoes were buds and the prime rib was reheated. When I mentioned it she said OK and walked away. There are way better taverns in the immediate area. Look at the photos!!! Owner responded by inviting us back to give themanother chance and BUY 2 more dinners!!! My wife and I would only return for 2 prime rib dinners, free of charge. If youhonestly AIM TO PLEASE.
