I've come here a few times over the last year and I've been pleased with the experience every time! The food has been great and... delicious, the atmosphere is bright and welcoming and the service has been excellent! Tonight, I was served by my friend fromschool, Kelsi! She did an awesome job serving us, making sure we had everything we needed and that we enjoyed our food and wasreally friendly and great to us and even smiled brightly at me one time, which made me feel really good and welcomed!!!! :) :)Hope to come back here again sometime soon!! Great food, atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Kid friendly. Restaurant was very clean and the service was great ????

If you are coming from the states you won't regret it. Very clean and spacious restaurant. Excellent and fast service, very... friendly employees. Food came out so fast I couldn't believe it. Food is not overpriced for a tourist area about the same aseverywhere else and similar restaurants in the states. Overall I would recommend it. If you are from the states and visiting youwill want to pay with Canadian cash or a credit card. Read more

I was in here at around 7pm last night(May 14) and I was extremely disappointed with the experience I had The veggie burger was... around 16$ and all it came with was the buns +cheese + the veggie burger. There were no condiments and no vegetables. A & Wand mcdonalds put more veggies in their burger than this Swiss Chalet did. This was extremely disappointing. Read more

We called this Swiss Chalet location & talked to the customer service rep for 20 minutes & ordered 3 - Winter Warm up bundle... double chicken leg dinners. After the customer service got all the info, she told us it would cost ~$47, and one minute later,she said it actually cost $54. She did not know why the computer gave out another amount...my wife knew something was odd butconfirmed that the orders were entered correctly. The orders were delivered to the hotel with 3 single chicken legs rather than3 - Winter Warm up bundle double chicken leg as ordered. We called back right away & talked to the branch company to complaint. He told us the store manager will call us back. Store manager did call back. We told her the issues. She offered a $15credit for the next time purchase...we told her we want our food not the credit... If not, just come & get the food back &return our money...She said there was nothing they could do because the store closes @9pm? instead of solving the issue, shehung up on us. This was unprofessional and a very unpleasant experience with this Swiss Chalet location. We do not recommendthis store or location to anybody. Read more

We came here to bask in the warmth of the Swiss Chalet ambiance after checking out the festival of lights. The service was top... notch and the place was spotless! Our server made sure to check our vaccination cards and the cleaning protocols includingmasking were upheld during our dine in visit. We ordered the kids festive meal and 3 quarter chicken dark festive meals (1 takeout) and were very happy with the food that we were served in the restaurant and the to-go packaging on the takeout and ourleftovers. The gift certificates for $10 off plus the Lindt chocolates were a nice touch too. When my child thought her firstShirley Temple was too sweet, the server kindly accommodated our request for a different beverage -really just a lovelyexperience. We closed out the place but the server didn't rush us and I was really impressed with the way she handled hungry,cold looking families that tried to dine in after the kitchen had closed for dine-in. She kindly redirected them to the Take outwindow and was able to diffuse the situation quickly with the customers who were frustrated and clearly hangry. Not an easy jobby far especially with the rapidly evolving rules for restaurants in Ontario so thank you for your service! Read more

A few weeks ago we decided to dine in at SChalet. We have been dining at swiss chalets over 40 years and was always good value... and good food. Looking at the menu we noticed prices had gone up almost 2$ ..with covid etc we were not surprised. We orderedour usual...half chicken dinner with fries - he always took half home for lunch the next day. I ordered my quarter chicken legwith salad. The service was great as expected. However when we received our food we were shocked. The chicken pieces were sosmall shock was on my face when the server asked if everything was alright. I hesitated as Im not one to comment, however I didas it was so unexpected. I explained how small portions were and she stated that it was Maple Lodge..the supplier..My responsewas that it was buyers for Swiss Chalet as it would appear they are buying smaller chickens..less cost to them, but price forcustomer has gone up. Suffice to say we also noticed buns were smaller and amount salad smaller..usually portions overflowed onplate previously....My husband finished everything on his plate..no take home and frankly I was still hungry:( Very disappointedin dishes. We will give it try at another location, but it may be our last...the quality and quantity is no longer there forprice charged. Read more

If you don?t know where to eat and there?s a Swiss Chalet in the area that is where you should go. This location is spotless... clean. One thing I love about Swiss Chalet is the more experienced servers. One must appreciate what the company does by givingan opportunity to those who were born a few decades ago.
