Apparently the Starbucks? around here are not connected to corporate. This means you don?t get points and the prices are... inflated out the wazoo - for literally the same drink. Our Grande drink was a little over $10, by the time the "LF" fee of 8% was applied. This extra 8% isn't indicated anywhere on... the menus, so I asked twice about it -- but got only evasive answers from the staff. Googling the controversy about *some* ofNiagara's companies charging a wide range of surchages (sometimes 10%), I learned a bit more context. These hidden fees arecounter-productive -- they leave a bad taste in the mouth, like a 'gotcha'. This isn?t your average Starbucks. The prices are over the top, the service isn?t great and they drinks don?t taste as you would... expect from Starbucks.
