This place was great! We visited this restaurant since we were at the Fallsview Casino Resort anyway. The restaurant has an... elevated dining experience. We've ordered dishes like the lamb chops, appetizer, etc and they tasted great! Our server has beenremarkable throughout the experience, the service was topnotch. Read more
Oh my goodness. First time trying Italian food and we were not disappointed. The food and service without a doubt was top notch.... We will be back for our anniversary next year. Yikes! I expected more! At this price, it should be done close to perfect if not perfect. Went with a group of friends so I... had the luxury of trying out a few main courses. Appetizers - $32 for jumbo shrimp cocktail. You get 3 shrimps, but yes theyare jumbo, and they are not bad, but the price was definitely steep. Also tried the calamari, which was ok Entrees - asI've mentioned I had tried a few. If you must come to this restaurant, I would recommend the lamb, which was pretty good.Served with mint sauce which was not available everywhere. The flavor was definitely there, I would add a bit more crust tomake this dish a 5 star. However the other dishes were a disaster. The risotto was very salty, the pork loin was notseasoned, crust was there but not flavour at all. Pasta fruitti mare was like something out of a can. I try to keep myreviews positive but sorry, I cannot lie Decor was mediocre at best for its price. They do have an extensive wine list butpricey. This place is another nice option when dining at the Fallsview Casino and Resort. It had a nice atmosphere and good service... overall as well. The food was very good too but a bit on the pricier side for some items not all. We did enjoy ourselves andwould most likely return again at some point down the road. There was a slight hiccup with our food (we asked for medium rare steak but it ended up being a little well... done), but the waitress went beyond our expectation and kindly took care of that.
