Use to love ordering from here but not anymore. Constantly missing items. Finally learned my lesson this time. no more benefit... of the doubt or taking a loss on items paid for. Waited 45mins this time (for something that was suppose to come in 30) formissing items to be delivered to have them say we didn't know what to do, and hadn't bothered to call delivery service in thefirst place. Refused refund due to managers not being. Did offer free delivery or 20% off next ordered, even though I will notbe ordering from here again. Save your money and try some where else. Read more
Hubs and I came for the Tuesday deal, and Wow! Was not disappointed, the fish and chips were delicious, good sized portions.... Karen was awesome, her energy is infectious!!! They got the order wrong. Ordered 2 meals only got 1. Phoned to inquire about this and the guy on phone was very ignorant. Said... give the driver 15 minutes and it will be there. No, "We are sorry about that" or anything along those lines. Just "give thedriver 15 minutes" and hung up in my ear. Before this pandemic hit I would walked in and order fish and chips for 5 people everyFriday. Was my favorite place for fish and chips. And the 15 minutes was actually over 1 hr. Just moved to the area and thought I would give this place a try for take out but I definitely won?t be returning. For $30 worth... of seafood I would expect cocktail sauce and a lemon wedge to be included however that?s not the case. I paid an upgrade chargeto get mashed potatoes but I got the default fries instead. Nope not again. Read more
Let me start by saying I have ALWAYS hated fish and chips. Couldn?t stand it?.and I would be miserable when my husband wanted... to order it (one of his favourite meals). I would be the goofball who would order the burger, or ANYTHING else off the menu ina fish a chip shop because I just couldn?t handle eating soggy, greasy, gross breaded fish!!!. Then we moved to the falls(around the corner from Lakeport Fish &Chips) a couple years ago. EVERYTHING CHANGED!!! During our unpacking my husband pickedup two Halibut dinners from Lakeport so I wouldn?t have to cook. We fought over his choice of dinner?but then? OMG!!!!!!! MIND BLOWN!!!! I had NEVER had anything so good in my life!! I?m not exaggerating!!! The fish was exceptional, fresh, supercrispy, and soooooo delicious! It?s now a staple meal in our home 2-3 times a month. I still HATE fish & chips from literallyANYWHERE else, but I CRAVE the Halibut dinner from Lakeport. Seriously outstanding quality and unbelievably delicious. It?sbecome one of my favourite take out meals and it?s often MY choice for dinner!! It?s really saying something when a restaurantcan take your most dreaded, disliked meal?and turn it into one of your most LOVED!!!! You seriously have to try the halibut!!! I know it?s a little pricier, but worth EVERY PENNY!!! You definitely can?t go wrong getting your fish and chips fromLakeport!!! Highly, highly recommended!! ordering via phone was a seamless experience. The person who took the order was good and the pickup experience was great as... well. Arrived within the estimated 15 minutes as I got a text that the order was ready. The food was good and was a largeportion for the price compared to other fish and chip places. Read more
I got some lakeport delivered. I do not eat fish so I got a hamburger and poutine. Nothing was on the burger literally no... toppings what so ever and I did not receive my poutine. Boyfriends fish and fries were fine so disappointed as I made the orderat 2pm to have at 630!!!! Read more
It's always a good when I come back home to Canada to be able to get some good old fashioned fish and chips. Something we just... don't get in Georgia. So this chip shop your basic chip shop and a strip center nothing fancy it's a very busy because I wasthere at lunch and there's a high school nearby a lot of them were there for lunch that day. But service was quick fast friendlya good portion for their price that I paid. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit next time I've been home and counted I'll definitelystop by again Read more
