used to love this place a while back, not sure what happened. I got the black bubble milk tea (same I always get) and it tasted... nothing like I remember. something resembling burnt coffee with a dash of mocha sauce..? the boba was flavorless with an oddtexture. even after asking for extra sugar it still tasted bitter. things have gone downhill, won?t be going back :/ Read more

Not a huge fan of boba so I was skeptical walking in here. This place totally changed my mind!! First off the store is super... cute and well decorated. Second the staff was very friendly! I ordered a pineapple green tea with strawberry and mango bubbles.IT WAS SO GOOD!! It wasn?t too sweet and tasted so good. Decent bubble tea! This is the only bubble tea place in the area, so I can't complain much, but they do an alright job. A lot of... the bubble tea seems to just be made from solely powders and sometimes it doesn't get mixed in well so you can taste thegrains...but overall there is a wide range of flavors and it's reasonably priced. See if you can try an option that doesn'tinclude starting from a powdered base, as I think they're still working on their ratios/mixing there. Read more
I was kinda looking forward to trying this place out. From the outside to walking into the shop, I was thinking it?s not too... bad. I ordered an orange green tea, honey black tea with crystal bubble, and a black milk tea with grass jelly. The orange greentea was too sweet and I already did 70% sugar. The black milk tea wasn?t much tea taste as well. The honey black tea was a bitweird to me as well. I didn?t try the food but my friend ordered popcorn chicken and cheesesteak spring rolls. Popcorn chickenwas a bit too dry and the cheesesteak spring rolls were not juicy and cheesy. Overall, not too happy about this place, maybebecause I have high hopes about this place. This cafe also doesn?t have parking lot and would have to look for street parking.The street parking right outside is two hours parking. Read more

Hearing of a bubble tea shop opening in Newtown was a dream come true for me. The drinks taste great, I?m glad they have more... variety than just the tapioca bubbles that usually come in boba, and the food is great too. I used to have to travel somedistance to get takoyaki and now I can almost anytime I want. Not to mention the environment is super cute and relaxing.
