I just love the food here. We came on a Saturday afternoon after lunch and it was not crowded. I got to meet the owner and he is... very nice. The service was great and our server made us feel like we were the only table she had, but she had to work all thetables in there. Read more

Just passing through & found a gem! The staff are very friendly & offered good service. Hubs got the grilled shrimp with crispy,... hot onion rings. He said the shrimp tasted fresh & it was a generous serving. I had a cheeseburger, cooked almost to the mediumI ordered. It was seasoned well with fresh toppings. Very tasty! The sweet potato waffle fries...goodness, gracious! Is it aside or dessert? They are crispy & seasoned with sugar (maybe salt & cinnamon). So good! Definitely recommend...worth the driveoff of I-40. Stopped at Parkside on the way home this evening. Place is clean. Decorations are cute. Staff was friendly. Ordered drinks off... there specialty drink menu. Wife's was way too sweet. Mine was not prepared as the menu said. Ordered pulled pork nachos as anapp. It was good. I ordered the philly steak dip with sweet potato fries. Sandwich was fine. Fries were good. Cinnamon butterto go with fries was great! Wife ordered hamburger steak with gravy. She had to ask about the vegetables as it was not clear onthe menu. Her meal was lacking in fresh qualities. There is a difference between food prep and shortcuts. Hamburger steak seemedto have been pre made and then had the gravy poured on when planted. Green beans were great, but not hot. Baked potato was nothot. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible. I just write this long review so hopefully they fix the issues. I live 5 minutes awayand only stop in there about once a year.
