I came here to meet a guy for the first time & I was concerned & a little nervous to do so. I mentioned it to the bartenders... working, and they went above & beyond, even going so far as giving me one of their cellphone numbers, to make sure I felt safeand comfortable, promising me if I didn?t they would surely handle it. Not only is this just an all around wonderful place tograb a drink & chill, the bartenders are top notch & go above and beyond to make sure their patrons feel safe. Thank you to each& every one of you. I cannot recommend this place enough. You should be extremely proud of your staff & establishment. Wow! What a great venue ? right here in Newton! Because I?m not a beer drinker, I hadn?t found my way in here before tonight,... but when I found out that there was a Bunco night, I saw this as a great opportunity to meet other ladies in my new hometown.And guess what? They don?t just have beer. The peach cider was delicious ? like pie in a glass. Wine was also available. I lovedthe atmosphere exposed brick, well lit. I will definitely be back and will bring my husband along as well. Novel Taproom is anasset to Newton and a nice place to spend time with friends or family. Read more

My family & I grew up in hickory area but recently relocated to Florida. Majority of our family are here & we are expecting our... second child. I?m in a local Facebook group and asked for recommendations for locations to hold a baby shower & Novel Taproomcame HIGHLY recommended. And I see why! Their customer service was top notch!! They made us feel so special! Owners were greatwith communication both in person and online for us coming from 11 hours away! Definitely will recommend them for future eventsfor family and friends!! Great place! We just bought a house in January in Newton and have come downtown once a week minimum. Novel Taproom has been on... our to do list and we stopped by today. Jordan loved the beer, we loved the setting and everyone there that we met! Read more
I absolutely love this establishment. Newton has been needing something just like this for a long time. The atmosphere is... amazing, the staff is as friendly as can be, the beer selection is fantastic, and the prices are incredible.
