Barely average food. My wife got what looked like part of a hair net in her meal. Medium rare burger was brown all the way... through. Two hours from the time we walked in until we left. I came here during the new england forest rally 2021 and first off.. I appreciate them being open when the selection of open... restaurants was limited in the sunmer. Second, even though the waitresses were running around like crazy with the massiveinflux of visitors they kept their cool. I expected a wait and got it but the alternatives were to wait 40 minutes to get atable elsewhere then wait forever for food too. Here I got right into a table and even though food took 40 minutes it was worthit over alternatives that weekend. Food was great, atmosphere was great, and it wasnt too noisy. Read more
Never write reviews but felt like this one was necessary. Great location and that?s it.... Food is ok but the service is an... unmitigated disaster. Have been three times this season due to lack of other options and the dinner took between 2-2.5 hours tobe served every time. Food was very good and out waitress was good but if you want to have a conversation or hear what your waitress is saying then go... elsewhere. The music is so loud it's like being in a club. After asking twice for the music to be turned down a little they mayhave adjusted it a bit, the bar tender was almost rude about it. Read more

If you want a good business idea open a restaurant next to this place! This place is not good at all. On August 21 we came here... for dinner and we arrived about 4:45 pm. There was one other table of customers which was being taken care of by someone. Thatperson chatted with that table for 15 minutes while we sat at the next table over waiting for someone (anyone) to acknowledge wewere waiting & needed to order. At the 15 minute mark we decided to leave. As we were leaving another service person came overand said can I help you? Ummm? ?We?ve been waiting for 15 minutes so now we are we?re going to leave?. She responded, ?Oh. I cantake your order now.? We should have left and spent our money elsewhere. But instead we ordered. My husband had the fish andchips and asked for malt vinegar. The waitress brought balsamic vinegar salad dressing as a substitute which was strange.However, the fish & chips were good. I ordered a steak done medium. I was given a cake fork and butter knife as utensils. Thesteak was tough. It could not be cut with the butter knife. I sat and waited for the waitress once again to request a steakknife. It took her 10 more minutes to return to our table. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE here!!! When she came back I asked for asteak knife. At that point 2 tables were seated. She then went and took the orders of both those tables while chattingleisurely with them, getting their life story & serving both tables drinks. Still no knife. Now 15 minutes at least has passed.So I went inside and got a knife from the bartender. After the waitress attended to all the chatting and drinks of these 2tables she then brought me a knife. I showed her I had one. She said, oh you got one?? ?Yes. I did. Bc if you have a customerwith food in front of them you should get that person a knife prior to doing all this other stuff for people who just sat down.
