We moved to this area 2 years ago, March 2020. We?ve been on a search for an exceptional Italian Restaurant and although we have... found some nice restaurants, we couldn?t find the ?one??and here it is!! The garlic bread knots were right out of the oven freshand hot. The salad accompanying dinner was simple but delicious!! The photos of our entrees are located below. Someone earlierhad mentioned this being located in strip mall and to not be put off by that, all I can say is EXACTLY!!! This will become ourspecial restaurant!! First meal there so decided to keep it simple and got spaghetti and meatballs. They started me off with garlic knots and a... salad, both were excellent. We googled and found this restaurant. Do not be put off that it is in a strip mall!!! It is a hidden gem that everyone should... know about. It should be the go to place to find an authentic Italian family restaurant- locally owned and operated for over 20years. The atmosphere is lovely. You can come casual or dressed up. The location is available for events and also catering. Iwish I had found this place before we committed to another provider. I have provided pictures for your viewing pleasure. Thefood we enjoyed. The menu is extensive. For those who care- they are a proud provider of Pepsi products. They provide a nicebasket of garlic knots and salad to start your meal. The salad and knots are freshly prepared and it shows. We orderedbruschetta and Cristina (with crab). Be aware the bruschetta is prepared to the size of a medium pizza. Lovely but large. Thecrab crostini is simply to die for! Nice crust on the bread and a generous bit of crab on each slice topped with nicely cookedcheese. For our main meal we had Pollo Al?Ortolana. This is a sautéed chicken breast with sweet Italian sausage, fire roastedpeppers and olives in a fresh basil marinara sauce and served with spaghetti. My husband said the chicken was as tender asbutter and was very smooth. Cooked perfectly! Now- before I say what I had- let me tell you it was possibly the best seafooddish I?ve ever consumed. The saucing was a wee bit generous but the Flounder Maryland was perfection. Fresh flounder stuffedwith fresh lump crabmeat and homemade breadcrumbs in an alfredo white sauce. Normally served over fettuccine but i substituted amixed grilled vegetable. Truly awesome. For dessert we tried the. Chocolate Fondant and the 3 chocolate mousse. Ordered delivery via DD. Food was delicious. ???????? Was not expecting the garlic knots to be included with the meal which was... a big plus. I ordered the Ravioli Di Amore. Portion size seemed appropriate. There were a total of 6 raviolis. The sauce was alot better than expected. Like actually creamy and not topped with a big goop of cheese. Which again was a big plus. Hidden gem. So a popular chain has a slogan, "when you're here you're family". This is here! You're treated like family. There's... a little wear on the restaurant some cosmetic imperfections but it's like going to grandma's house. It's so full of good food,good stories, and good smells that whatever minor flaws you might see melt into the background. Now onto the food! This is realfood! It's going to take a minute to get it. They prepare it when you order. So they cook your pasta and your sauces when youorder. Nothing is sitting in a warmer waiting and then reheated to be hot. How great is that to get real food?!
