My husband and I got married on Oct. 15th. & Ruthanne who is the restaurant/wedding coordinator made our day literally PERFECT.... I told her the colors/theme we wanted and told her to roll with it and she did just that. She handled everything so well and theday went so smooth even with 3 kids and a toddler running around. We had the pleasure of attending Carney?s wedding on September 18th, 2022. A celebration of our loved ones was a beautiful... event. However, the execution of the ceremony was poorly conducted based on the lack of the coordinator?s assistance (Nicole).The ceremony was lacking in the following areas: timeliness of the wedding, which was supposed to begin at 3 pm but did notstart until approximately 4:15 pm due to everyone looking for the coordinator. The wedding coordinator did not seat the guest,and I had to take charge in ultimately seat the guest by telling them which side to sit on. Not sure the introduction of theguest party was supposed to be done by the D.J; in my experience of weddings including my own, the wedding coordinator wasresponsible for the introduction. The dinner table was not set up completely based on what the Carney?s had initially paid for(i.e., missing table lights, no numbers, etc.) For example, the D.J said the tables were numbered for each table to be calledfor buffet, but no tables had numbers on them. She did not give guidance to each table to get up to retrieve their food. She didnot let the photographer be aware of taking pictures of the groomsmen before getting dressed to capture special moments. She didnot direct guests where they could place their gifts/cards and the family members/wedding party had to step in and handle thesituation. She was nonchalant about the cake not being at the event but eventually later after the event was over, she cameabout to say the cake was in the freezer the entire time. This caused an inconvenience for the wedding party and guests, assomeone had to run out quickly to purchase a cake and decorate it. Not providing a service and the items stated would be in theevent is a breach of contract. At the end of the night, instead of having a clean-up crew, the guest was asked by Nicole to helpassist with clean up. I had the Korean chicken. They gave breat/wing portions of a chicken (1/2 chicken). Those in the group who had salmon were also... surprised by the portion size. Everyone loved their meal! We had tuna bites, fried pickles and buffalo cauliflower forappetizers. Everything was delicious! This was the first time I tried raw tuna. (at least in chunk size). Oh my goodness, Iwanted to eat the whole dish! The fried pickles came with a sauce that balanced the natural saltiness of the pickles as well asenhanced the overall taste. The coating gave it a perfect crunch. The cauliflower had just enough heat. This was my first visitto Nest, but I don't plan on making it my last. It was a well hidden secret (at the golf course). We are not members of the golf club, but enjoy attending the Nest Restaurant. I enjoy that they change the menu seasonally and... you can look forward to fresh new items, while keeping their staple favorites. Plus one of the few places that serve duck bacon.???? Read more

I had my wedding at Kiln Creek this past weekend and everything was amazing! Nikky is a literal angel. She was so friendly,... nice, and knowledgable. I had tons of questions throughout the process and she was always quick to answer all of them. KilnCreek itself was a beautiful venue for the wedding. The arch and backdrop for the outdoor ceremony were perfect. The PeninsulaRoom Ballroom was so stunning and the perfect size for our wedding. Everything was decorated exactly how I was picturing, whichwas great considering Nikky and her team handled all of the setup, decoration, and clean up. Nikky is also an amazingcoordinator! She stuck to our timeline and kept everything running smoothly, we could not have done this wedding without her.The food was delicious, we got so many compliments on the cocktail hour food and the plated dinner. Service was great, theplated dinner came out quickly for everyone. The bartender was excellent! We kept her working hard throughout the night and shekept up just fine! Our signature drinks were great. Kiln Creek also offers tons of decor to use, which is definitely a costsaver. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say. My husband decided to make reservations here and bring me here for breakfast. Food was greasy and not all what it says to be.... I had the Carne something that came in a bowl and the rice was hard not once but twice and I told the waitress no tomatoes (I'mallergic) bowl full of baby tomatoes. Husband had fries with his biscuit and gravy and had onions (he's allergic) in it and thewaitress fail to tell him that. They sat us to the front table by the door and flies start swarming in like they was on a SWATteam. I can say Shardey(?) was a gem out of the whole experience. My husband and I were so happy to have celebrated our ceremony and reception at Kiln Creek! I loved how our event space was... personalized! Nikky was there to help me with almost everything, from the pre-planning process to the day of! She did anamazing job answering questions and working through my ideas. She was pretty busy at the time, but we stayed in contact with oneanother to get it all done! I must commend her for also being our day-of coordinator, everything went so smoothly! Nikky/KilnCreek allowed us to bring in our own vendors and only set a limitation for catering only; not the cake vendor. My husband and Ididn?t have a caterer in mind anyway, so it didn?t bother us. We chose our special brunch menu and the food was GREAT!! Nikkyprovided a vendor list to gather ideas and we were able to find an amazing DJ. I also enjoyed how Kiln Creek has a hotel, rightthere! We had a queen and king room for weekend which was EXTREMELY convenient! Thanks to Ivey for helping me with that process!I was able to tour the room and book our stay in advance. My ladies and I had a spacious room to prepare for the ceremony;plenty of space to create two separate areas for hair and make-up! The groom and his men prepared themselves in the locker roomof the event space, which was actually spacious and nice!
