I like to visit about once a week. I was surprised when I first started going in there - how good the food and atmosphere... is. They really make you feel welcome - almost like you?re at home. Staying at an Airbnb in the area from NC. Just happened to find this gem. We ordered the Nachos supreme. Everything was fresh... and tasted authentic. Even the refried beans were delicious! We?ll be here for four days so we will return here daily. Goodstuff!!! Read more

Solid choice for casual sit-down Mexican fare. I personally prefer this kind of unpretentious Mexican restaurant to more upscale... or experimental options. Went to Juan?s on a Wednesday night around 8:40 for the first time. The restaurant wasn?t packed, but I heard it gets packed... during busy hours. Before we got to order you get a fresh serving of chips and salsa. THIS IS A TRAP! The chips are SO fresh andcrispy and the salsa has the perfect level spice and seasoning. So obviously and I finished the whole serving. Then the serverbrought another order of the chips? The chips are unlimited and so delicious, but I wouldn?t recommend eating too much or you?llhave trouble finishing your entree. My group ordered the Empanadas de Birria, Burrito Pastor, and Molcajete. Empanadas wereslightly crispy and flakey. The empanadas comes in the count of 3 and the filling is full of meat with a side of meaty oilsauce. The Burrito Pastor was very in portion. It was plated with cheese and salsa verde on the side of the burrito and wastopped with avocados and jalapeños. The meat filling was very tender and juicy. Each bite had the sweetness from pineapple andsometimes you would bite into a pineapple which was like a little hidden treat. Finally, the Molcajete was a huge meal thatincluded tons of different types of protein in a heated mortar with a side of rice, vegetable, and tortilla. The portion forthis dish was HUGE! The meat were all tender and very well seasoned to go with the rice and veggies. The server who served uswas also very polite and chill. He would check up on us often to make sure our water was full and if we needed anything else.Overall the whole experience was phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone who is in the area. Fun little side note: Eachrefill for water our server added another lemon to the cup. So I, in total, had 4 lemons floating in my cup and my friend and Ithought it was a fun way to keep track of how many refills we got. Read more

Food here is always good. We ordered the Molcajete (in the black bowl) & the Fried Chimichangas (Without Tomatoes & Lettuce) I... also had a Blood Orange Margarita which was yummy. Try the Cheese Dip for the Tortilla Chips. It?s so good. We use any leftovercheese dip on our meals. It?s really good mixed in with their Mexican rice. Service is always friendly. When you visit a restaurant excitedly after 3 years and they have the same flavors that you remember it is nothing short of... euphoria. That's exactly how Juan's came through. I am from Southern California and have tried my share of good Mexican food.The Chile verde they serve here is one of the best I have eaten, good meat, well cooked and perfect verde sauce.
