Chicken hot anf tasty. Service is also friendly and efficient. Drive thru speaker is still broken after two separate but spaced... visits. Management needs to support their their hardworking and obviously enthusiastic customer facing workers with workingequipment. Outside needs attention, i.e. litter, dirt, just an unkemptness that shows it's not swept and picked up daily. Eitherthat or I've just been there on a bad day -- twice -- weeks apart. Read more
Very ghetto and will never order again. Each time I come to this location the order is never right and I always have to drive... back up here. It?s crazy. I tried calling before I came but the young lady whom took my order was acting like she couldn?t hearover the phone so I drove up here and she was walking home from work meaning, she clocked out at 8pm tonight. I?m looking at thetime. Cashier worker never listened to my order to begin with. I stopped by the store, at 7:30pm, to get some dinner for my family. To my surprise, the front door was locked. I asked an... employee why were they closed so early. She informed me that they had No chicken, because one of the new cooks, dropped onlyone(1) bag of chicken before going on a break and they were sold out at the time. As a resulted, no chicken for approximately45mins. What a horrible experience. Never ordered and had to patronize another establishment, with my $30.00. Read more
On Friday 9/30/22 I put in a online order with Churches Chicken on 3215 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23607 and was very angry... and disappointed. When I got to the restaurant they did not have my order ready, said they were closed. I went online and myorder was processed. In other words Churches stole my money. I went back to the restaurant the next day and was told by anemployee to go online and figure my order out. There manager informed them my order never came through and it was nothing theycould do for me. I went online to there site to try to piece everything together. When looking on there site, there isn't even anumber for me to contact anyone about my order. I was able to submit a request through the site to get a refund. The site hadglitches, so I'm not even sure this went through. I'm never ordering online or eating at this churches again. This was way tomuch hassle to not get my food or money back. Read more
Poor service. Always out of ice or white meat or dark meat and you don't know that until you get to the drive thru window after... you have already waited for 30 minutes or more. The Mike Tru the drive thru hasn't worked for 3 or more years. They shouldconsider closing because the chicken is good if you ever get any but this place gives Chuches Chicken a bad name. Read more
Of I could give it a negative star I would. They told me I had to use the drive thru but then let this couple in to order. Get... to the drive thru and the speaker is broken so I pulled around to order only to find a huge hole in the ground which u couldn'tavoid. Then they took 30 minutes for one car to get their food. Nasty looking in the inside and customer service poor. On the defense for the workers, they look tired as if the same workers... ate there from open to close. Huge pot holes in the drive thru. The chicken taste as if it has been cooked in old grease. Mashedpotatoes are entirely too thick. But other customers say the smoked rotisserie chicken is really good. Read more
The chicken was bland and burnt tasting was the only seasoning. The old women at the window was stilling money from this... business. I wanted to buy a three piece combo and five tenders ..she stated that she would give me my whole order for tendollars. She claimed that she had ice in her pocket and pocked the money.
