This was our first time coming to Carrabba's Italian Grill after receiving so many good reviews from family and friends. Our... family really enjoyed our meal. In fact we were so hungry and it looked so good that we forgot to take pics of the actual foodthat we ate. Our waiter Ted was excellent. He stated that it was his first week and he did a wonderful job. He kept our drinksfilled and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything. When we ask him for anything he came back promptly. I spent a week in Newport News with my spouse eating food that was at best mediocre to just plain horrible until we stumbled... upon Carrabba?s Italian Grill and our wait person Trish. The food was great! and we cant say enough about Trish who was anabsolute gem. My wife just happened to mention it was our wedding anniversary and Trish gave us a complimentary Tiramisu withHappy Anniversary written on the plate along with great service. I had a ribeye steak with french fries and alfredo very delicious although I was disappointed about the cannolis. I took one... bite of the cannolis and was totally disgusted by them. They were nice and didn't charge me and gave me a cake for free instead.It would be a place that I would visit again. Despite of the cannolis. The food overall is delicious. Read more
The food was phenomenal and the waitress was superb. The chicken was tender and I love the asparagus.
It was OK , somethings better than others. Bread with the dipping sauces and also the olive oil were good. The salad was OK. The... fried cheese was great. The dinners where ok. The sangria was not worth 32 dollars it was very syrup like. It upset my stomach. They sang to my daughter for her Birthday that was very nice. Read more
the food is tasty but the portion sizes suck for the price. there's no reason why a below average sized meatball CUT IN HALF... should be $6.49 plus tax..... i also got curbside pick up and i felt like the guy lingered a bit for a tip after he gave me mychange. of course i felt bad and gave him a tip for doing damn near nothing????????.... probably won't visit again i only havea pic of the meatballs but i got a trio meal and let's just say it all fit in an itty bitty container perfectly.... I must say this is one of the best places I?ve eaten at into 757. The food was fresh and it tasted like the workers actually... cared about the product that they gave their customers. We dined in at the Newport News location for the first time and had such a great experience! Our waitress, Shawna, was fantastic... and made our experience so seamless and personable. She was truly awesome with our 2 daughters and made it so fun for themwhich, of course, made it more enjoyable for us adults. Everything we ordered was excellent and came out quickly.
