Best pizza in the Hampton Roads area. Hands down. I can't speak to the rest of the menu yet but I thought that more than worth... mentioning. Small place with a cool atmosphere on the inside, but could use some work on their outdoor seating area. Also, ifyou're coming for just the food it's best to not come during a big sports game. We went here late at night on June 20th, 2022. Service was excellent, especially since we were there eating pretty... late. Atmosphere was really nice as well, just a nice little place to eat in a cool part of town. I ordered an Italian sub, itcame with fries. The sub was really really good, however the fries were not very good. Too hard, and crunchy. I think theywere cooked in an air fryer, which I don't like. Excellent pizza and staff. While visiting the area, we have a family tradition of pizza on Friday night so selected Brickhouse... Tavern after looking at the menus and reviews. As it was a Friday evening, it was very busy, really loud, and happened to be inthe high 90s and humid that day so outside was no bueno and inside just a bit cooler. With it being as crowded as it was, itwas super loud inside but my family is not bothered by that and we had a blast. There is a decent selection with some uniqueofferings but we stuck with pizza. Started with some vanilla items, mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli. Both were very goodand not a crumb left. Pizza-wise we ordered the Greek, Brickhouse, Meatlovers, and Brickhouse calzone. All offerings wereexcellent. The small is definitely enough for an individual and the medium at least a 2-3 person meal. The calzone was alsomassive, tasty, and as the picture will show, basically a meat banana pizza! Next time we're in town, apparently I need to trytheir wings and some other menu items so I guess we'll sacrifice ourselves and eat here again. Went in with 3 people total and had a great time. Mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, Mac & cheese bites, and meat lovers pizza... were fantastic. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was perfect for the restaurant. Servers were attentive and prompt with allservices. Will definitely be returning. Read more
This was my first visit here after a recommendation from friends. I got the feel that they were understaffed, but they did... alright! Our wings were hot (temperature, not spicy), fries were crunchy, and the crazy bread was so good. Just a heads up, thecrazy bread is the size of a whole pizza. We left with 4 boxes to go, so for the price and we'll get at least 2 meals, a greatdeal! Read more
They add so much seltzer to the soda that it doesn't taste good anymore. Really trying to stretch it out, I see. But my grilled... chicken with alfredo was great. I definitely come back again for it. The pizza and wings here are good too. Read more
This place where it?s located makes you forget you?re in the city! The menu is awesome because it offers a wide variety of food... choices. The pizza was absolutely AMAZING!! The French fries were so delicious. The wait staff was very patient & was quick tohelp with the information on the menu choices. The beer choices were aplenty as well.
