Amirtha is now my top choice for Indian cuisine on the Virginia Peninsula. Atmosphere: cozy and friendly. Food: delectable. My... party ordered three chicken dishes - Kadai curry, korma and butter chicken. The chicken was from boneless skinless thighs -tender and flavorful. The food was AMAZING, the staff was sweet as pie, so kind to my son. My husband and I loved our meals (paneer butter curry and... fried rice) and my toddler absolutely loved the masala omelette and was treated so well by staff. Hands down must try! We have tried a lot of the Indian places around and this one is hands down the best. The Chef is amazing... back there whipping up some great curries. We had the butter chicken and Saag curry, both were excellent. The Saag currysurprised us with how good it was. Read more

Wow! So glad we tried Amirtha Curry & Bar as it was amazing! Our dishes were flavorful & the spices were perfect! My husband... is vegan and they even had tons of options for him! Best description: Fresh, flavorful, food fast! To top it off , therestaraunt was clean, in a great location & the staff was inviting. Our waitress took time to answer questions about the menu &made sure we have everything we needed. We went at the start of dinner & had a chance to meet the chef to thank him for ourexperience! Went there for the first time today after waiting for the ?coming soon? sign to disappear. The wait was well worth it as this... place was amazing for a late lunch.
