I know this is a Balboa Island classic but our experience was subpar. The staff was friendly but slow and brought the food with... several minutes difference. Some people in our party were done eating while others were still waiting for their food. The clamchowder tasted like canned soup and the salmon was flavorless. Most people come here for breakfast and we came for lunch. Theplace was very busy but I guess we?ll still to breakfast if we come back again. Wouldn?t recommend it for lunch. Read more
Wilma?s is a great, family friendly spot. The servers are fast and get food out quickly, which is important is you have a little... one! The meatloaf sandwich was a hit and my sourdough cheeseburger was amazing. When you get an order of fries, they?re shapedlike potato chips. I loved them! We came in for lunch. Every time we have dined here it has always been fun. Great service, the food is always delicious and... people are friendly. We shared a quesadilla which is more like a pizza or lasagna type dish. The prepare two tortillas withcheese, lettuce chicken in the middle with sides of guacamole, salsa and sour cream.
