We were walking in Balboa Island where we came across this place! Small but very friendly environment that hook us in to try out... ???? It was late but it was too good to pass, so we decided to get small dinner ???? We ordered Lasagna and Veal Cannelloni andboth were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS ???????? service was great and it felt we were regular and treated as such! Went here for an early dinner after spending the afternoon exploring Balboa. Very tasty food and quick service!

This is a very small restaurant with no more than 10 tables. It didn't have air conditioning when I was there so it was very hot... inside. Service was a little slow. The food was not bad but it wasn't fantastic either. I had the bolognese and I ask the serverif that was with meat sauce. He said it was but it turned out to be marinara sauce plus meatballs. Little hidden gem !! The food is outstanding!! Haven?t found a yum Italian place like this since Europe ?

Not what i expected. Food was ok. Service started nice when we got seated but after we ordered our food it was unpleasant. They... serve you sink water. I was planning on ordering a different drink but they Never asked how everything was or got any refills.My pasta had no flavor. I had to get up and get my own salt and pepper. When they serve you the plates they don't say excuse meand just go right beside you almost hitting you in the face. I understand it is a tiny restaurant but you can at least let usknow that you're coming with the food. Not worth the price in plates. Read more

Great food, Great ambiance. Took me back to an Italian vacation. Pasta's are great and the tiramisu... so spongy and just melts.

Family run business with exceptional food!! A must if you visit Balboa! The restaurant reminds me of small little restaurants... in Europe with a great menu and all the plates with great flavor. Small wine menu but high quality with a good range of prices. Read more
