This was our first time visiting a Flemings and we brought our Godson for dinner before he went off to college. I have to say... it was good but not great, especially for the pricetag. The service was decent, not terrific, and I notated it was a specialoccasion but the server didn't acknowledge or ask anything. I was less than impressed with how often our server came around,but he was so preoccupied with surrounding tables he forgot the cocktail, and then took the bread before I even had a slice. The steaks were spot-on and the sides were hot. I like that you can order half sides, and so we had a variety of four itemsrather than two. The lava cake, which they require a 20 minute leadtime for, came out overdone, so when you broke into it therewas no chocolatey "lava" spilling out of it, rather a solid mass. Still good, just below expectation. I thought Fashion Islandwould have a stronger running in the department of food, service and overall quality. I'd say save your money and visit MichaelMina's restaurant Bourbon Steak in Dana Point. I've dined there on several occasions and never left disappointed. Read more

Table service is very nice. Came here on my anniversary and the restaurant prepared Happy Anniversary card and chocolate for us.... I definitely love the butter spread so much. Our server was very nice and polite. Steak were tender and tasty. The restaurant isvery cozy and luxurious. Highly recommended to have a date or special occasion lunch/ dinner here. Read more

We ordered the Lobster Mac n Cheese ($25) and the Children’s Filet Mignon ($25) We love lobster Mac n cheese and have tried... it from quite a few different places. This may be one of the worst. It came in a small plastic side container. There was hardlyany lobster meat & what we found was chewy, to the point of being inedible. It just wasn’t cooked properly at all. The macitself uses a Buffalo cheese which isn’t what was as off putting as the store bought pasta itself. No bread crumbs orappealing topping. Just raw green onions. The filet was worse. It was so dry, not seared or cooked properly, and terribly chewyas well. It wasn’t eaten. The fries on the side were previously frozen store bought as well. My babe said he would prefer theCheesecake Factory to the cheesecake piece he got with a caramel sauce that wasn’t made in house either. We weren’texpecting to eat fast food from a higher end restaurant tonight. It may have tasted better if we did have fast food insteadthough. Read more

This was the best birthday dinner I have EVER had!!! The staff was attentive and gave me a personally signed card and chocolate... truffles!! It was the best birthday I have ever had. The manager comped an extra lava cake and the dinner was beyond wordsamazing!! The steak melted in your mouth with sweet potato crisps on a bed of spinach. This is our new favorite place and I’mcoming back as often as I can!!! I have never had such a great experience at a restaurant. Thank you!!!! Amazing restaurant! My husband and I visited this location when celebrating our anniversary. We both had a fillet mignon. It was... so tender and flavorful! He ordered the Mac n cheese and I got a side of the Fleming potatoes. Both really good! For dessert, heordered the lava cake and I got a sticky bun cake. Everything was amazing!
