This place was so fun! Go early for your lunch reservation and get a drink to sit and drink on the lawn. If you?re early enough... there?s a small trail to a light house you can walk to for some fun photos. The food was excellent (some of the best we?ve foundsince in Newport) there?s valet parking or a small lot you can park in for free and walk up to the restaurant (like a 3 minutewalk) staff was lovely and overall a great experience with great views! Arrived with no reservation, no seat available, has to dine in the bar where seating is high, and the is very slow. Feel lucky... to not seat outside with the table on the grass, as the wind is strong and people there shaking in the cold. The food is good.Not great. The view is great! Read more
The patio is incredible & the views are to die for. We say there admiring the sail boats as we sipped our tasty cocktails and... ate our lunch. I got the spring salad topped with lobster salad and the marinated watermelon. So so so so good!! Make sure youinclude time to sit in the Adirondack chairs after (or before) you dine. Read more
View was absolutely amazing. Great views for a meal. Right on the water. The bar was walk up first come first serve. We had a... reservation and they had complimentary valet so that was nice. Meal was good. I def enjoyed my salad way more than my lobsterroll. The crab appetizer was very salty. Def will just come here for the bar next time. Read more
We came as a suggestion from our boat crew. Finding the house was a little tricky, but once we arrived it was BEAUTIFUL! The... bartender Emily was hilarious and was a joy to be around. Her personality and willing to invite ALL people to the bar waswonderful. We had two drinks, fries, and a dessert. The cookies and cream parfait was YUMMY!! We had reservation for 12:00p on a very cold winter Sunday. There were three of us and our table was inside the restaurant with... an incredible view! Menu options were lunch or brunch and we all opted for brunch. The food was delicious and we accompanied itwith their fresh squeezed orange juice. Service was prompt, knowledgeable and very good from the (free) valet to the waitstaff.Ambiance was great, very different to a summer afternoon when we?ve visited and had lunch outside under the tent. We really made the best decision to dine-in at this place. We booked our table in advance but you can get a table on the... spot. If you are visiting Newport, you should definitely visit this place. Ambiance is so lively and beautiful ????. Coming tothe food, we ordered : 1) Fish and Chips- They literally served the fish covered and fried with potato chips. This is the bestfish and chips we ever had. 2) Lobsters roll- Very fresh and tasty. I had better lobster roll in the past. 3) Fish taco-Yummy Overall it was an amazing experience to be at this place.
