This was a refreshing change to a bunch of boring, repetitive menus that we saw in the area. Downside might be a pretty small... interior area for dining. Menu items might be too unfamiliar for someone seeking a really standard American breakfast (which Iam biased against). Items all seemed homemade which was what we had been looking for the whole trip. Also one of the few placesthat served beverages in mugs rather than to-go containers. We didn?t wait long for food. I remember the menu being heavy onmeat and eggs, and maybe not the ideal spot for a vegan or someone seeking dishes focused on vegetables. Corned beef hash wasgood, breakfast sandwiches were good, some interesting potato cube things were good; like a better tater tot with a noticeableherbal flavor. Go here for something more interesting that the usual breakfast spots. Pricing was also reasonable from what Iremember. Read more

Wow. Tiny little place but EXCELLENT food. I had The Lorraine grilled cheese/fritatta with spud nuggets and my husband had The... Porker breakfast burrito & corned beef hash. Real corned beef chopped up, not the canned stuff. Great coffee, super fast & friendly service. Read more

Loved this tiny little place. Food was delicous and unique. It is very cold inside, so dress warm, and call ahead about the... wait ..not many tables. In more "comfortable"/warm weather, there are also tables outside in a clear plastic tent. They areknown for the grilled cheese, but there are many other interesting choices like poutine, soup, breakfast sandwiches, burgersetc. We shared 2 lunch combos...best deal. Includes good sized cup of homemade soup, your choice of a full grilled cheese wchoice of bread, spud nuggets, a drink and a large cookie. We chose the short rib grilled cheese and duck confit grilled cheesesandwiches, Italian wedding soups, strawberry soda and apple juice, a chocolate chip cookie and a peanutbutter cookie. Soyummy. Gotta' go. A must-try anytime, but especially if u love a grilled cheese and soup on a cold wintry day. Read more

Yummmmmm!!!! Oh my goodness what a cool menu, the most interesting grilled cheese sandwiches! I had the Thanksgiving dinner and... it was beyond delicious!!! I keep thinking about it and want to go back. They are known for their cookies and spud nuggets. There is covered outdoor seating and they seem to do a busy takeout business. Read more
