It was closing time and I offered a $20 tip for another drink and the bartender declined, which I was fine with (was worth a... try). I then noticed I was charged too much for the 1 drink I bought. Head Bartender Brian gave me the correct bill afterexplaining he charged another person's drinks to my card and then says "next time when a bartender doesn't give you anotherdrink, try not being disrespectful and swearing at them". I told him I never did that and left him a $0 tip. Then he says "andyou're still being disrespectful, don't come back here" I told him F You and walked out. We went to One Pelham East for the dueling pianos but got there early to have some apps and drinks before hand. After... realizing I screwed up a little , we got in touch with Charles. Charles was super helpful and understanding and helped usfigure our situation out. THANK YOU CHARLES!! After figuring everything out, we sat at a table and had the fun Jason as ourwaiter. He had so much energy and lots of jokes. He was the perfect hype person before going to the piano show. While at thedueling pianos, we got to watch the very talented Danielle and David. Have never been so discriminated against by bouncers, was refused entry purely due to my Irish ID while with a British friend,... who I was with was welcomed inside. On multiple other occasions bar tenders have refused to serve me while offering drinks toolder men around me. Every time I have been to Pelium we have felt nothing but unwelcome by the staff, would not recommend. Read more

Rowdy bar with live music, darts, ping pong, shuffle board and a pool table. If you are looking for a fun good time, this is the... spot. Note, this place gets PACKED on Friday/Saturday night. Standing sardine style to be exact. Make sure you get in before thecrowd, grab a high top with 3 friends, keep the drinks flowing and you will not be disappointed with the entertainment. Handsdown THE BEST THE TOP place to have an all American experience of this American life. The staff is Amazing, the bar has its... own golden retriever beautiful dog who nonchalantly welcomes you in and continues to room about between tables saying multiplehellos to partrons. The food is amazing, I had THE best fries and spicy fried chiken sandwich I have ever eaten in a bar here inthe states! And there is more: there was a singer also playing guitar and he was simply FABULOUS. He played true Americanclassics and the ambience was heavenly. The patrons sang along with him and occasionally asked for their favorite songs. Theartist graciously obliged. This was on the fist first floor and the bar also has community tables. I never got a better groove with a country song then a live one in One Pelham East! The cheese burger was a good feast too! Best... place in Newport! Read more
